This should immediately nominate Griffin for CP legend status! Really, who came up with that? Maybe Craphonso is a distant cousin?

Positives Has broad shoulders, good upper body muscle definition, hard midsection and a good bubble Runs with a normal stride and shows good quickness and burst to close

Ok, I guess I'm out of the loop, but whenever I see this in scouting reports, all I can think to myself is WTF?

I'm almost afraid to guess what a guy's "bubble" is...Anyone care to enlighten me?

I watched this guy pretty closely when I was in River Falls, the day before I got there Teicher had an article about him the paper so I made a point to check him out. In the article Teicher made mention that some coaches had mistaken him for Derrick Johnson in the way he moves and his build, when they could not fully see the 66 instead of 56 on his jersey. After seeing him in pratice I can see why they are so high on the kid. He seems to have the stuff, he made one hell of a pick off of Green in 7-7 drills on the goal line in one instance and completely made Waters look silly on a blitz just a bit later. He is definitely a diamond in the rough.

And as the question of what a "bubble" is? In football terms it is referring the backside of a player. Generally speaking the bigger and more of a bubble a football players backside is, means that he has a lot of explosiveness and power in his lower body!

Believe it or not, I even seem to recall a quote by Vermeil in an interview where he offhandedly compared Griffin to DJ....

Kris is probably the best all around athelete I have ever watched play HS football. I am from western pa and watched him play for his HS team. Now I want each of you to consider this fact. He hever put on shoulder pads or played a down of football until his senior year of High school! If you read his Bio he played college ball at Indiana University Pennsylvania. Not exactly a premier football program.

He is totally undeveloped raw talent. I think he will make the team based largely on this fact. It sounds like he is having a great camp, and he has never had a GREAT teacher to show him the proper technique to do things. Count Kris on the team!

Wow you are a pretty mature adult aren't you! You can even attempt to carry on a conversation, providing it doesn't require any thought.

I am simply trying to respond to the question that started this thread....I believe it read "Who is this Kris Griffin guy?" I was simply attempting to shed some light onto who exactly he is.

Oh and BTW, what he will pay me for posting that will be determined by whether or not he makes the team :p
