I was in the liquor store stocking up on booze since next week I am moving to a dry county, and when I walk in there is a gal standing there who asks if I'd like to try some beer, "Uh, yeah." She was promoting Pyramid beers, and I must say, all were pretty good (except the India Ale, but that probably has more to do with the fact that I don't care for India ales than it does the quality of the beer). The summer ale Curveball ball was tasty and smooth. The unfiltered wheat beer was very good as well, night quite as good as Boulevard, but good none the less. The one that I was most impressed with however was the Apricot Ale. The thought of a fruity beer just doesn't seem right to me, but this was surprising good. It has an apricot flavor, but with out being sweet. I was impressed enough to pick up a sixer of it. I'll probably pick up one of the Curveball in the next day or two as well.

Heh, the rootbeer wasn't all that bad either, for a non-alchoholic drink that is.
