Knight makes Wesley look like a loser no talent thug. And Surtain is so go good he makes Mcleon look like a peewee player-not that Mcleon needed any help. When you add that kind of talent, the slakers stand out that much more.

How about Knight on the blitz and fumble recovery-all the guy does is make plays.

I saw Knight blitz on a couple plays, and Ive not seen a DB blitz that well timed from a Chiefs player in YEARS.

I mean, right at the last second Knight starts running, and by the time he hits the line of scrimmage, the ball is snapped. Absolutely perfect timing on the blitz.

I agree last year we telegraphed it so the QB could audible at the line and burn us.

my only worry is that since knight and surtain are so good that the opposing qb wont even bother throwing it their way but toward wesley's man and wesley will give up big yards.

I fall too easily, I know, but I can't help it.

Surtain is quickly becoming my favorite Chief, even though he hasn't played a regular season down for us and I don't have favorites, I root for the whole team... I just forget what it was like to have a pro bowl CB...it's been so long. It makes me want to cry. ROFL

I commented to my Uncle at the game, we had three successive big plays by three of our new guys.

1. Surtain covers like a blanket and defends pass.
2. DJ blows up RB and makes Warner throw it away.
3. Knight recovers a fumble.

Three plays in a row where our new guys make spectacular plays. I hope it's a glimpse of what this defense can be.
