OK

I need 6 people to join a Chiefs Planet Fantasy League.

The deadline to join is Midnight tonight. The Draft is Wednesday, August 24th at 6 p.m. Central.

The Cost is 14.95 to play.

Please PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite.

While I know you guy like to bitch about the cost to play, I'll make you this deal. If you play in this league, I'll donate 14.95 for every player to the 37 Forever. You get the chance to kick my ass, and probable Iowanian's ass in FF while also supporting a great oprganization.

So if we can fill this league, I'll write a check for 179.40 to 37 Forever.

Hoover, if you're having trouble getting enough people, can you drop it to a ten team league?

What's the $15 for? Are there payouts to the winner(s)?No. It's just the cost of having the site host the league.

It's a lot more in depth than the crappy free ones on Yahoo and ESPN.

There are no pay outs. I did offer to make a contribution to 37 Forever if we fill this league. I guess We could give 80 bucks to 37 Forever, and 75 bucks to the winner and 25 to second place.

I need players!

You always get what you pay for. In Free Fantasy Football you get a bunch of people who love to draft, but when their teams sucks they forget about it. CBS has done a great job. You get good insight with a very usable site. You can post article, talk crap. Its a good time.

I played 3 leagues last year....and this one was by far the toughest, and the best site IMO.

Obviously some have backed out...but it was a tough league, and most everyone kept with their teams throughout the season.............

Thats my pet peave with the Free leagues.....draft, flurry of activity, and leave the roster after going 0-2.

I'd sure like this to be a challenge....and its always enjoyable to run a little smack on a planeteer after the savage midgets destroy the Pink Meat Curtains of Brockville.

Out of curiosity, what are some of the basic rules?

Do you pick a D/ST or do you pick for all positions?

What's the rules on trades, pay or free, weekly limits, playoff limits?

I don't have a lot of time for FFL, but I do enjoy the more relaxed leagues. Played on rtsports.com last year and had fun, but only because I didn't spend 20 hours a week analyzing stats.

This will be interesting. I won't be online for the draft, so I'm going to have to put in some serious time before then to make sure I prepare for any eventuality. The draft queue thing sucks, it appears that once you add a player to your queue, you can't move him up or down in the queue.

The draft queue thing sucks, it appears that once you add a player to your queue, you can't move him up or down in the queue. You can set up your draft list instead of using the draft queue. It will allow you to rank players as deep as you want. Look for the "rank your players" link near the top of the home page in the yellow box.

If you don't have a lot of time, I reccomend using the "set rankings to average draft position" setting, rather than using the CBSsportsline default rankings. The default list is a mess IMO.
