I hoped he would come back strong and ready to go.

I think he'll be back as a coach.

Maz's amazing story is Disney Sports movie material and I'll bet he hasn't written the last chapter yet.

what really sucks about him leaving is he is probably the last Chiefs Defensive player that had that "nasty" streak. Woods use to have it, but I think he lost it the same year Maz was lost. It seems like it's been a long time since I've seen a Chiefs player wallop someone. Use to see it all the time in the 90s when we couldn't score more than 10 points per game.

Mike Maslowski is not done. Not by a long shot.

Thanks for all the heart, Maz.

Not me. He was an average player----at the very best. For Carl Peterson to call him the cornerstone of the KC run defense the last few years and say it with a straight face just tells me how deluded that front office is.

I'm sure he was a hard worker and a great teammmate, but there are plenty of hardworking, good guys that shouldn't be playing MLB for a NFL team. Maz is and always was on that list.

Im somewhat suprised they kept him on the roster as long as they did...I dont ever see him coming back to play.

Maz was blue collar, lunch pail kind of player.

He was smart, and had good instincts.

But he was also slow, and my guess is that he would come back even slower after this injury.

He was the kid of guy you root for, but the fact is, had this team had any talent at LB, he would never have made it on the roster, and now that this team does have talent at LB, there is no place on the roster for him.

He'll probably make a great coach, someday, but he was an average talent on the field.

I liked him, but in the scheme of things, I can't say that I'm sorry to see him go.
