I go in for shoulder surgery today. I have a torn labrum, a messed up A/C joint, and a cyst. Hella good times! I don't think it will be a big deal, the doc said the procedure will take an hour or two, and I should be home by tonight. The guy that's doing it comes with big time credentials and a large customer satisfaction rating, which is always a good thing. :thumb:

This is as close as I'll ever come to being able to relate to being a pro athlete, in bragging about having my shoulder "scoped". :)

Anyone else ever had this or similar procedures?

I was circumsized when I was 12. That's all I've got.

Good luck, and a speedy recovery.

Well, I'll admit it: I don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Will you be back in action by at least mid-season Bowser... or do we have to go the waiver wire for a replacement poster?

Phil is going to have to put me on the PUP list. But don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Warfield........

I'm probably 10 years behind you. I doubt my right shoulder is gonna hold up much past 40.

Good luck. Give me a call if you need me to throw anything at your wife.

I'm probably 10 years behind you. I doubt my right shoulder is gonna hold up much past 40.

My shoulder has popped on a regular basis for the last two or three years. It started getting sore and staying sore a couple of months ago. Then, I was trying to pick up a package in the back of the truck, and the shoulder felt like it got stabbed. The box wasn't even that big - probably 10 pounds.

At the consultation, the doc told me that most people (1 in 5) probably have torn labrums and just don't realize it. My tear is significant, according to him. Plus, he wants to clean the joint out and get rid of the cyst.

Good luck. Give me a call if you need me to throw anything at your wife.

My man, you are on the speed dial. Good thing you have a vehicle that gets outstanding MPG, because there may just be multiple trips.... :)

Good luck, and may they not mistake you for the guy who needs to have his arm amputated.
