Do you think the Bears might want Todd Collins for a 2nd rounder ?

Just a reminder, we got PATRICK SURTAIN for a 2nd rnd.

oh, and again... no.

Great idea.

That way we can be utterly f*cked if Green's ridiculously long starting streak snaps, then use the pick on another Junior Siavii.

There probably isn't a more important back-up on this team than Todd Collins.

I was hoping we could trade Ninjaman to the Mange or something. :p

I don't think the Chiefs would even trade for Todd Collins.

Hell, I don't know why they haven't gotten someone better. Oh well...as long as Green stays fresh, our O is fine.

Given his last performance, I'm pretty sure the other team would demand one of our draft picks too.

I somehow don't think the Bears would take another Chiefs back-up QB after their Quinn experience last year.

Of course, it's not Quinn's fault that the Bears have no offensive line, but no one in Chicago seemed to pick up on that.

I think Carl is reluctant to draft a QB high ever since his big mistake in drafting Todd Blackledge.

OFFICE OF BEARS GM:

BEARS GM: "Damn it! We lost Rex for the regular season again! What are we going to do?"

BEARS ASS. GM: "I have an Idea. Lets offer the Chiefs our 2nd rnd pick, which considering we are going to go 3-13 this year is going to be like the 32nd in the draft, for their back up TODD COLLINS!"

BEARS GM: "Todd Collins? The Michigan QB? I thought he was dead?"

BEARS ASS. GM: "No he has just been sitting on the bench for 7 years, but don't worry he has thrown 30 passes over that period of time."

BEARS GM: "Our season is saved."

Just forget for a while we need Collins around. It what fantasy world would we get a 2nd rounder for him.

As long as it is only a second, we should get the better of it. ROFL

They still do not get it about the Oline, I hope they never do. But they do have a Left Tackle, John Tait. :)

But they drafted their 83rd first round running back in the last decade, how is that going. ROFL

Actually, Benson showed up at Halas Hall today, so it's possible he may be signing soon. Of course, training camp is all but over.

Nice to see someone else having Sims problems.

First I had heard that, thanks for the info. But they still keep drafting QBs and RBs in the first round without building a line. Do you think they will ever figure that out? 17 starting QBs since I moved to Illinois 9 years ago IIRC. ROFL
