I don't know why everyone is surprised by this. Just from watching him work out you can see he's not that bad off... the board is gonna meltdown when he's out there knocking Kennison around in week 1.

Nah.
No one will be worried at all about that side of the field after Samie grabs a couple of long TDs. :hmmm:

Actually, it's when the Jets receivers are abusing McPassOn that the board will meltdown.

I'd be interested in seeing the Jets play (if the game was on here) to see how they look as a team, but Law, to me, is just another guy now. I'm not gonna wring my hands over him any more than I would for Pennington or Vilma.

I think that guy's overreacting a bit considering the Giants have about 70 yards passing total in the 1st half, Hasselbeck's been sacked twice, and had to run with it 5 other times, and has three fumbles. Tiki Barber is averaging less than 4 yards a carry as well. Most everybody else on that board seems to be pretty pleased with the defense, their offense has sucked wind tonight though.

You didn't actually look at it did you? That temporary blindness will ease up soon, as long as you didn't stare too long.

That's Ruth Ann Minner (D), Del.

This ain't right. Who gives a chit about the cap? It's Super Bowl or bust this year. Who cares about next years cap. Ty Law could have helped us. 25% of Ty Law is better than McCleon.

I was flipping to that game whenever the Cards-Raiders had a timeout and only caught that the Jets had 14 points on 2 scores by their defense.

could Ty Law's ego handle being #2 to Surtain? Because beginning the season that's a gimmie

KC really needs to limit their turnover's in game 1. I'm not impressed at all with the Jets offense. They'll score some points, but the TO's will be the key IMO.

Oh goodie another Tie Law thread. Since I wasted this much time reading this worthless thread I might as well add my own useless opinion on and screw over the next guy. I just hope we can have a daily update on this guy like. TL takes a dump and it looks all pro. TL is better than Bell. TL better than Surtain. TL best ever. TL looks fast, cuts good, talks the best smack ever. TL for president. TL saves the world!!!!!!

He wasnt overreacting that much:

2-11-NYG30 (14:25) T.Hasselbeck pass to P.Burress to NYG 43 for 13 yards (T.Law).
1-10-NYG43 (13:45) T.Barber right tackle to NYJ 46 for 11 yards (J.Vilma, T.Law).
1-10-NYJ46 (13:05) T.Barber right guard to NYJ 44 for 2 yards (D.Robertson).
2-8-NYJ44 (12:28) T.Hasselbeck pass to P.Burress to NYJ 34 for 10 yards (T.Law).

Total of 44 yards... He said Law got beat on 3 plays for 50 yards... pretty accurate actually...

I meant more of the "not good" part. I think it's hard to say Law was the one that got burned on a running play, have to see it I guess to see where the play was directed. But yeah he obviously gave up a couple plays to Burress, but that's 4 plays in an entire half. You didn't post the rest of the half, most of which was the Jets D shutting them down, incomplete passes to Burress, Hasselbeck getting sacked, having to scramble several times because nobody was open, he had 5 carries in the 1st half, and I know none of those were planned. Everybody else on that board seemed pretty pleased with the defense, LB and secondary play, save possibly Derrick Strait I think....

13+11+10=34 yards on 3 receptions unless you are doing some other sort of math.
