If the staff ignores past contributions and only looks at this preseason, LJ is the starter, hands down.

I can not see the game but am listening to it on the web and my thought was that Priest better be careful. It also has me thinking I may have to think about drafting LJ earlier than I was planning.

LJ just looks more explosive and quicker than Holmes, IMO.

yup, based on what is happening right now...LJ looks faster and stronger...but Priest is savy, he'll roll when the season starts...but I wouldn't cry if LJ got some more snaps

Yes, eventually Priest will gracefully step aside to share the load as the backup.

LJ has done nothing but rip-shit-tear-ass since VD was forced to let him play. Saunders said he has "blossomed". I call BS. I think he was always this good and VD and Saunders were FOS.

I didn't know they would let you post this late at that assisted living joint.

Hopefully it's just Priest taking it easy because it's preseason. If not, LJ looks overall better.

If LJ is not the starting RB we will not make it to the post-season.

gracefully or not...he won't have a choice. LJ will get 40% of the carries this year.

I rest my case. I love watching him outrun DB's.

97 yard ripper, yes he's making damn good case. 1 TD 147 yards

Much faster and much, much, much more powerful runner than Priest.

At 8:45 p.m. Kansas City time, Priest Holmes officially took a large shit.

That reminded me of Portis running against us. Wow! I'm happy to see that on our end.

I'd like to thank DV for the diaper comment.

Keep offending him, actually...

I feel bad for Priest. Everywhere he's been, someone younger comes along.

I said it at the end of last season, I don't think Priest will end the season as the starter...heck, he may not last the first 8 games as the starter. The best player should play, that looks like LJ.

Damn...that's what I thought....LJ = Portis (but stronger)

I'm not sure if Priest is taking it easy, or what but LJ blasts right though tacklers, runs downhill, while Priests legs fold at first contact. The starters arent' going to see much of the fourth Preseason game, I can't imagine Priest is going to wait till the first game to "turn it on".

I'd like to see TJ's take on this.

Not to take anything away from it, but the hole was the size of a pickup. Plus the fact the safety was nowhere to be found....... probally out of place.

LJ had enough legs to win the foot race....... Nice.

Inside the 10 yard line, I want PH with the ball.

Yeah, but you also want Scanlon so what the hell do you know?

The "LJ between the 20s, Priest in the red zone" approach looks more and more appealing by the day...

Maybe LJ's play will make Priest better. If not, get LJ in there.

I'm thinking it'll make Priest that much better because he won't want to be replaced, but if not...

See, this here is excellent, top-flight analysis!
