I don't care what the cap hit is.......... Chiefs need to dump his sorry ass before the game is even over! He is getting completely handled all over the place, seems every play he his picking his sorry ass off the field.

Junior will probably be playing in the Wisconsin penal league before seasons end.

DV said, pregame, that Siavii has "rough patches" on the underside of his knee caps that will require surgery...but there's nothing they can do this year except manage the pain

imho, they should tell him to have surgery now and get ready for next year...

I was going to post this thread. Junior has done absolutly nothing. He has gotten shoved around, even by their tight end. If he makes the cut on Tues. I will never watch the Chiefs again!!!

Until the next game.

That may not be a terrible idea. Provided we can sign some viable DT to go into the season with.

Do we get any cap relief for IR players?

Do we get any cap relief for IR players?Unfortuanately not. Cutting him is the only way to get any cap relief and that probably would be a wash with his signing bonus hitting immediately. But I still say cut his sorry ass.

In a minor defense, it looked like he got double-teamed a bit. Nonetheless, he was doing nothing against third-stringers. It's embarrassing.

Sims, on the other hand, was looking darn good tonight.

no.. but they don't count against the # of players on the 53 man roster

I'm going to steal a comment I heard in the parking lot tonight after the game.

"He's got the size, but no heart."

That pretty well sums it up for Siavii. Too bad.

I think we'd just be prolonging the inevitable--cutting him. :shake:

Maybe. Guess, we'll see....he's really looked bad, IMHO though.

:hmmm:

I want to hear more from DV and Peterson about his problems. He still might be able to help if they inject enough drugs in him.

Hey man, it's hard to beat a double team when you're wearing a black plastic spit hood. Can't see, can't breathe. Damn cops!!

How about DT Arrion Dixon? Undrafted rookie free agent who's been working extremely hard. 6'4" 315 4.99/ 40 time. Can't get the games where I live. What's eveyone's opnion of him.

I can't say he's distinguished himself, from what I've seen. Maybe I'm missing something though.

Are you sure about that? On the Chiefs website, it says Sims signed a 7 year deal when he was drafted in 2002.

http://www.kcchiefs.com/player/ryan_sims/

"Transactions: Signed a seven-year contract with Kansas City (8/28/02) ... Originally entered the NFL as the Chiefs first-round selection (sixth overall) in the 2002 Draft."

If I'm not mistaken, I think he has an opt-out clause after this year. I'll have to research that.....

I didn't get to watch last night's game because I was working a bull riding......however, I don't see a single DT on the Roster, outside of Dalton, Sims and Browning, who should be on ANY NFL roster.

Dick Vermeil said last night that Siavii has a knee condition in both knees that will need to be operated on at some time. Basically he has a grittyness under both of his knee caps that rubs and causing continuous pain and swelling. DV said the doctors have done well with getting Siavii ready to play, but that it will be a problem until operated on...

The guy has problems in every direction.

I gotta defend my man Dixon. He's played hard every down. Held his ground against the double team on several occasions. Arms up quickly on passes. Chases the ball. Here's the tackle total through three games for the DT's: Sims - 4 Dixon - 3 Dalton - 2 + 1 assisted
Browning - 1 and Siavii, Sharpe and Jones 0 each.

your man dixon....and Montique Sharp haven't done anything than get their asses beaten 5 yards back from the LOS and expose the backup LBs to a beating so far.

If he's anything above Practice Squad this year....Its bad for the Chiefs Defense.

I think they could, but I don't know...I know that he's basically worthless right now and he might as well start planning for next year, freakin fat loser bum....
