Now that it's looking like Preist is being pushed for PT by Johnson... if you were to draft your FFL team after today, where would you draft Priest in your league?

He went #4 overall last night in my draft, but the guy who drafted him is a Chiefs fan, so he may have fallen further. (at least to my spot at #7).

He went 4th in our league as well. I drafted him. However, I was unable to get LJ later on as a solid backup. I might try to swing a trade for him before the season starts.

I took him at #3 in my league this year, but I also handcuffed him with LJ in the 6th round.

As long as he stays healthy, he will be a top 3 fantasy player this year. If something happened and he got injured, LJ would be a top 5 fantasy player.

2nd, no doubt. LT is #1 in FF

I wouldn't take him higher than 4-5...and you'd better snag LJ in round 5-6 if you do.

I'd say no lower than four... probably at three.

LT obviously is No. 1, but Shaun Alexanderr is just as much a slam dunk at No. 2. Edge is going to put up numbers. But the next tier of running backs is so much below Priest, if he stays healthy, that it makes taking him in the Top 4 worth it.

i try not to draft chiefs at all. I hate worrying about stats in a close game or something. although I couldn't resist pissing off the guy who took Priest by drafting LJ.

his fantasy value has dropped some

you now have to worry about the # of snaps.

C'mon now, granted it's a gamble as is any pick due to injury but had Priest played a full season last year he would've easily surpassed LT2's numbers.

Priest in 8 games......1079 total yards 15 td's

LT2 in 15 games.......1776 total yards 18 td's

Just my .02 but LJ in the background or not I believe a case can be made for taking a 100% Priest over LT2.

If I felt it was a crowd where I could get LJ in round 5 or 6 or lower I'd take Priest. Landing them both is necessary IMO.

If not, I'd go Tomlinson as my no 1.

I have the 5th pick in 1 league and I'm passing on him if he's there b/c I don't want to spend a 5th rounder on LJ.

If I were picking after 6 and he was there, I'd likely have to do it.

I'm drafting 10th in my league. So, since it's a keeper league, I guess I'll choose 10th. Peyton Manning will be the 11th taken.

I wouldn't draft him at all. I don't like potential committee situations, and drafting him basically means you have to try to get Johnson later on. I don't like limiting my options like that.

He went 4th in our draft yesterday...same guy took LJ in the 5th round.

It's gonna suck to blow your 1st RD and 5th RD picks on a couple of RB's and not get a single full-value starter outa the deal.

#3, behind LdT and Alexander, but you had better get LJ by the 5th at the LATEST!

I think you WILL get full value starters out of both, that's why I'd willing to do it. Sadly though, I don't get to test my theory, as I'm 8th and 10th in my 2 leagues.

I went ahead and drafted him with #4 overall, but I also got Julius Jones, JJ Arington, Thomas Jones and I am about to pick up Benson off waivers.

I took Priest because I believe, if he is actually healthy, that he's going to be the guy to have for the first part of the season. If/when he gets hurt again, I have plenty of backups to deal for LJ if I want.

I had the third pick in my FFL draft and picked Priest in the 1st round. I also picked up LJ in the 7th round.
