Have the CHIEFS said, besides shoes not fitting properly, what is causing his problems?

Damn, you beat me to it.
Yep he's got nerve damage in his foot. They amputate his foot tomorrow. He'll be fitted for a prostetic Tuesday and will be back on the field Wednesday.
Hope that allays your fears?

Seriously... He's fine.

Thanks, so do they know what's causing it? Can they fix it or is it something he'll just have to play through?

Kendrell Bell's convinced him not to play until he's 120 percent.while that is humorous, it seems like that's the way it is with bell...

otoh, while it would be better to have him get the reps with the 1st string in game situations, i'll be satisfied if he lines up against the jets...

I assumed that is what you really mean't to say, so I fixed it for you.

From what I heard last night on the locker room show. It started with his new shoes cutting off the circulation in his foot. Maybe he laces them too tight. Vermeil told him to wear his old pair. He could have played more but Vermeil said no. Why risk it.

That's understandable. But wasn't there a report that said he was experiencing some numbness in his foot earlier in the week?

Yes the report came from Trent himself. He said he had numbness and decided not to go back in after Roaf stepped on him. He will be okay-but won't play much this week. If he gets hurt we are done.

That's what Dick said. That it started happening when he started wearing his new shoes. Told him to go back to his old pair. :)

Quinn as our QB?:Lin:

Hopefully its not a big deal. But I feel they have been less than truthful about injuries this year.
