Slo-Mo won't be working in the NFL next year. After he burns through his signing bonus (oops) he's going to need to find a job. Some places he probably won't be working:

Jiffy Lube

Quick-Trip

Fast Print

Kwik-Shop

Speedy Muffler

In-and-Out Burger would be a good one for him, though.

I wonder what the lawyers fee was to sue the NFL on his behalf..?? Ultimately he may still be working for them. He could always hold up those "Slow" signs at road construction sites.

A personal injury lawyer who has "no upfront fees"?

I figured maybe some legalese rubbed off on him after dealing with lawyers for 3 years instead of, you know, playing football.

Apparently he picked up on the term "performance incentive" but wasn't paying as much attention when they were talking about "signing bonus".

Interesting, since he never played. It's like a Buddhist mental puzzle. Such as "what is the sound of one hand clapping?"

He got paid a training camp per diem which is more than the average bear makes, but it's not too much.

Something tells me he won't be able to land a gig as the new "Speedy" spokesperson for Alka Seltzer. I have a feeling he will be asking the question "Would you like super size that" within the next 6 weeks.

Maurice Clarett, Reggie Williams added to UFL rosters

Posted by Michael David Smith on July 7, 2011, 12:46 PM EDT

We leave no stone unturned in seeking professional football news of any kind during the lockout, and that includes scanning the UFL’s transaction notices. And today those transactions include a couple of names you’ll recognize.

Maurice Clarett, the troubled former Ohio State star who signed with the Omaha Nighthawks after getting out of prison last year, is apparently returning to the team. He’s been added to Omaha’s active roster.

And Reggie Williams, the wide receiver who had a rocky tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being selected ninth overall in the 2004 NFL draft, has been added to the active roster of the Sacramento Mountain Lions.

Omaha will play Sacramento on Sunday, August 14, in the season opener for both teams. We hope that weekend also features some NFL preseason action.

SloMo was such a good name after that piano on his back 4.79/4.8 40 times....

In other news, SloMo makes me think of old lobster claw hands SlyMo or as I always preferred to call Slime-O.

That SloMo pick was probably the worst I have EVER seen...1st off any RB that runs a 4.8 40 isn't getting drafted unless he is big enough to play FB and blocks well. Secondly any player with that much of a troubled background would fall passed the 3rd round even if he had 4.4 40 speed and 1st round talent....Combine the troubled background and gawd awful speed and he would have never been drafted unless Al Davis was up to his usual stupidity of gambling on a troubled big name in the 7th round.

But it was just a comp pick so it was worth the gamble/Knowmo
