What about Mo Clarrett?

Maybe, if he had bothered to read the Denver playbook.

WTF can't hurt. Who cares about next years cap?

Why even get our hopes up?

If Simon didn't want to play for the Eagles, then he won't want to play here for less money. Other teams in the league can offer a lot more than we can, so I really think our hands our tied.

I'm going to wait and see if we get Ty Law first, before jumping on this bandwagon.

This could bring the number to 4--FA's that KC offered more money to only to see them sign elsewhere.

I got to be honest, I'm right there with you. If we don't get it done this year, it's going to be a massive rebuilding project anyway. If we are going to **** it up, let's really **** it up.......

Serious note...

I know we offered Hartwell more money, and maybe Law, but who else?

I've said this once before.

My money is on Simon signing with the Eagles. They just "freed up" something like $5 million in cap space. Who else has that much space?

I think he's counting Trotter, Hartwell, and Rolle, althought I don't know how accurate that is.

but, Simon has had no preseason contact & didn't attend TC. Isn't he a bust in the making

Either Rolle or Law...I read something about KC offering Law a contract, but the FO said they didnt. So I figured .5 in each case to make 3...

BRC & Chi ... I fully agree. I will not get my hopes up but would cheer if they sign him ... even if we are in cap trouble for the next few years.

IMHO this would be a big piece of the D puzzle. If Sims is playing up to expectations and add Simon... can only dream. I feel our LB and DB have been upgraded and then upgrade the DL.... WOW!!!

But, again ... sounds too good to be true.

Now, a question to coach ... how effective will he be since he missed all of TC and doesn't know our system nor his fellow players? He is a vet but most rookies are not effective if they miss T.C.

This isn't about cap, it's about cash. Simon wants a big signing bonus on a multi-year deal.

Corey is a lazy piece of trash. He won't be in game shape until Week 10.
