If I get a dish and subscribe to the extra sports packages that has Fox midwest, Fox east, fox everywhere and comcast midatlantic comcast west (whatever in the hell those channels are ) -- will Chiefs games ever be on these channels like when they play the Giants away or will it always be blacked out.

Also has any one checked out that NFL network on demand thing -- where it shows extended highlights of every game. -- How many highlights does it really show.

My last 5 years my neighbor and I always split Direct tv -- this year he bailed -- so now I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to the bars to watch the games (in this case I hope the NFL network will hook me with enough highlights to watch later) or paying the DTV pirates $240 bucks on my own.

Thanks in advance

Check your schedule. Bars work fine.

I don't think theFox channels will carry the games because they are "Fox Sports" channels, not the Fox network channel.

I could be wrong though.

The fox regionals wont show the NFL games. The only way to get NFL games is via the locals or the Sunday Ticket package.

On Demand gives roughly 10 minutes of highlights which shows most, if not all the big plays one right after another. The plays are shown chronilogically so it's like watching an abbreviated version of the game, but in most cases, each play is a scoring play or turnover/sack.
