You will probably be right.......

And on another note, I've noticed this past weekend in a few FFL drafts I was in, everyone is now staying waaayyy away from any Saints players.

If this team is able to pull 4 wins out of there hat it would be a miracle. I guess this saves Hasslets job for another year also.

I thought the Donx were going to trade their first round picks to get him.

Leinart was an idiot to come back to school...

A. get picked by hometown 49ers in 2005
B. get picked by unknown scrub team in 2006

no brainer, I would have thought.

The pressure's on San Fran NOT to be the worse team in the NFL now. If The Saints win more games than they do without even having a home and after being so distracted and unable really even finish training camp, Bill Walsh will be rolling over in his grave..... if he were dead of course.

I concur. His stock could easily drop as well.

I liked his decision. I'm glad to see someone put finishing college ahead of the money for once. Besides, he'll likely win another national championship...or at least compete for it and will be able to enjoy being a BMOC one more year. He can always play for a shitty team, wallow in mediocrity and get driven into the ground by Ray Lewis next year. Enjoy your youth/innocence while you have it I say. You can't go back.

Yeah. Because he couldn't have finished that last credit standing on his head. I don't know his motivation to come back to USC one more year, but it wasn't so he could graduate. His courseload = ballroom dancing.

I don't know...I've seen some Donk fans on the mange indicate THEY were getting Leinhart....

That would be just Fine with me, if they found themselves in position to be a contender...

I wonder how Brilliant he's going to feel when he blows an achielles vs N Cal State Juco in week 3?

I wonder how Brilliant he's going to feel when he blows an achielles vs N Cal State Juco in week 3? If he could never play a down of football again, he'll have a line of USC alums wanting to give him better jobs than he deserves, not to mention Hollywood wanting a piece of him.

A Heisman winner that brought a national championship to USC, then tried to stick around to give them another? The guy is the darling of LA, the big man on campus, and living the life of Riley.

I have nothing but repect and envy.

why on earth would the donks want a scrub like Leinhart, when they already have Jake Montana?
