You realize Heimerdinger was still the Titans' OC last year when Billy Volek and Drew Bennett owned our defense up and down the field on us on MNF last year.... Heimerdinger definitely won that matchup.

Anyone know which teams played a 3-4 D against the Chiefs last year, and what the game results were?

They won the battle, but we won the game.

Blaylock doesn't play defense.

But he sure the hell can tell the defense what type of plays we run.

And they can have a idea for it.

True, but you can bet good money that he has spent quite a bit of time with the Jets Defensive coaches this week. Just a guess...

Meh. I'm pretty sure Al Saunders knows Blaylock is a Jet now, and has adjusted the playbook accordingly.

As long as we have Scanlon, we'll be fine.

Oh well, it may not matter much. Just because you know what play is coming, doesnt neccasarilly mean you can stop it.

They added something like 19 new sets to the playbook this offseason. Each set could have any number of plays.

I guarantee that Blaylock will be giving them tendencies and that's about it.

Lord, how many do they have now?

i just wish the d could step it up too...

after listening to sammy knight, i've pretty much given up hoping for a mediocre defense...

i want a good defense, a really active ball hawking good defense...

ahhhhhhhhhh, i'm so stoked for the season! PBJ PBJ PBJ PBJ PBJ

Baltimore and San Diego off the top of my head. Maybe Atlanta. We had our way with all of them pretty much, though only went 2-2.

Doesn't matter because the Jets don't run a 3-4. :p
