I picked up Larry Johnson too. Maybe I should just start both of them each week. If they can get 200 yds and 3 TDs, not a bad plan...
Just curious why they played Larry so much. Didn't get to see the game...

If you did your homework in the preseason, you knew ahead of time they were going to play LJ a ton. Starting them both might not be a bad plan, depending on who your alternatives are.
As for "why they played Larry so much," I'd say it's because he's a f'ing stud who tore it up in the preseason and took his first carry today for 35 yards and a TD.
DV said after the game the rotation is Priest for two series, LJ for one...repeat ad naseum.

Don't feel bad...because o my suck ass network at work I was stuck auto-picking Priest becasue I couldn't get into the draft room
I think they should've given it to Larry more

2 series to Priest one to LJ for the game. However Priest made a big run of 30 yds and came out of the game for a rest in the first series. LJ comes in and runs 25 yds for the score.

Agreed. Especially when we got the big lead.

Because Johnson's better.

I agree. He looked good on nearly every carry. 9 carries is not "so much."

I think that Priest is still the featured back, but the focus is going to be shifting to LJ. I'm anticipating a Faulk-nerian changing of the guard here.
And I'm wishing that I could have drafted LJ (in addition to Priest), but somebody picked him up in the 4th round in my league!

I have LJ as my fourth running back in both my leagues. Right now no plans to start him but he is fine quality depth.

I am in the same situation, and as long as Priest stays healthy he is going to get 20+ TDs, which will make up for LJ stealing his carries.
I'm not worried yet, Priest still had a great day fantasy-wise.

Eh.....
They didnt play Larry very much. He had NINE carries for 110 yards and 2 scores. I think he caught a pass also. Makes you wonder what he would have done had he taken every carry.
Priest had something like 25 carries for 85 yards and a score.

10 touches for 121 yards and 2 TDs. Not bad.

Check that, I thought Priest had 2 TDs.....actually this wasn't a very good fantasy day for him.
