Hold your tongue. The Jets bootlegged the **** out of us twice.

those bootlegs were just a rookie mistake on DJ...if he can fix that problem by Denver he will ruin that bootleg crap..it would not surprise me to see Raiders do that bootleg too...

Plummer doesn't even know that he's not ambidextrous. How do you expect him to know how to run an offense?

I hope not.

After that horrible gameplan they had for Miami, I wouldn't put much of anything passed the Broncos at this point.

I'm guessing at this point he's more worried about not losing to San Diego and going 0-2, either them or SD is gonna be 0-2, and most of the time 0-2 means no playoffs.....

Which team should we want to win? I hate the Donk's more but San Diego has the harder season schedule. :hmmm:

I think we should root for the Donks to win. I wouldn't want to face an 0-2 team in their house on national television.

Yeah, this might be as close to a playoff game in Week 2 as you can get. I wouldn't want to be either one of those teams and go 0-2... not with the schedules they have in the middle/latter part of the season. Before the season it looked like Den/SD had the easier starts early on before hitting the gauntlet of tough road games, and one of them is going to squander that early part of the schedule.

Screw that, I can't think of a team I'd rather beat on MNF, especially if it puts them at 0-3.

Let the Donks win, then we can beat them in their house the following week. :)

Teams will run the bootleg until we show we can stop it.

Fortunately, Gunther knows this and will be gently schooling young Mr. Johnson on the importance of maintaining his assignment.

I'd rather Denver loses than San Diego to become 0-2. I would love nothing better than for the Chiefs to throw that shovel of dirt down on them to make them 0-3. Bury 'em deep!

The Jets ran that play twice and both times had success...the second time, both Allen and Johnson bit on the run fake and left their side of the field open.

The chargaz have a tough enough schedule and I don't hate them like i do the donkeys. Bronco's 0-3 start with their imploding fanbase really brings joy to my heart.

I'll be rooting for the donkeys to beat the :bolts: wk2. That way after the Chiefs beat the Raiders and then go to Denver and beat them on MNF the Chiefs will be 3-0, the donkeys 1-2 and the :bolts: and Raiders will have two losses each and we'll be that much ahead in the division.

In division games when it is unclear who would benefit more from the outcome, I ALWAYS root for the home team. Getting a division win on the road is a big advantage for a team and I don't want ANY team in the division other than KC grabbing an advantage in the division.

If however, one team's season has tanked already, I'll root for them to upset the division contender.

So this week, I'm going to suck it up and root for the Broncos to beat the Chargers.

Badly worded. I'm going to hope the Broncos beat the Chargers next weekend.

I'm not going to get to worried yet, it was week 1. I think everyone will improve as the season goes on. Derrick Johnson should quickly improve, seeing as that was his first pro game.

Chiefs have to beat the raiders!!! I don't think this is a gimme game at all. If we did not have so many injuries and two f#ckheads suspended-it would probably be a blow out. I am going to wait on Surtain playing before I make a final prediction.

As far as the Broncos-I would love to see them lose at home-on the other hand, an 0-2 start would severly hurt the Chargers chances of repeating, especially if the Chiefs win. I will vote for lots of penalties and injuries for both teams, with the Chargers getting an ugly win in overtime. A long hard fought game, with Plummer going out for the season would be great. Shanahan going 0-2 with two ugly losses would be awesome!!

You are an idiot if you want Plummer out for the rest of the season. He sucks horse nuts; you definitely want a sadsack like him being the donks QB because they might get someone better, like some goofy old lady off the street.

I tend to agree...at the very least, they have the speed to recover unlike in years past.

I think it doesn't matter what we are more concerned with. The Chiefs are at this minute concentrating on taking Oaklands cookie jar to the club house!!

I'm not sure where you get the numbers but if "popular opinion" among the sports writers means anything the Chiefs will be 3-0 and the also rans will be somewhere below.
