The Bush family needs these drinkin and druggin kids of theirs to learn some discipline. Straighten up and fly right. Maybe a judge should make these slackers enlist in the Armed Forces, or do jail time.

Yeah, that's gonna happen...

An Army buddy and I were arrested on 6th street for drinking and fighting once. We bought Penn State t-shirts and went to the Penn State/Texas game, then went down to 6th street and raised a bunch of hell. Pretty fun actually.

I do know that he could've driven his car into a grade school and not done nearly the damage to the Republican party that his uncle is doing right now.

But we can count on the lefties to move even further to the left enabling the right wingers to grab power once again.

That's a pretty accurate description of party politics these days, although the right wingers also seem to be moving farther to the right as the libs move left. Pretty soon (if not already) there will be three parties as follows:

Republicans
Democrats
People with brains

The ironic part about the whole thing is that if you believed the conservative wing in this country it is Bill and Hillary who are lousy parents and horrible people.

I don't know about that but is seems like Chelsea has never exhibited anything but grace and humility. She's always carried herself with dignity and never given anyone a reason to be ashamed of her behavior. Even as innocent as she was it seemed that there were some attack dogs on the right who felt it appropriate to turn their venom on her.

If you ask me the type of children we raise is not only a measure of our parenting skills but also indicative of our personal values.

Like I've said many times before, this country is full of morons.

It's no wonder that a dolt like Dubya was able to get re-elected.

Republicans aren't winning elections because they are superior at what they do. They win elections because they promise the dirty, retarded masses that they'll protect their guns and their god.

Seems like nothing gets by you. Anyway, how does that compare to the consistently embarrassing and illegal behavior by the Bush Clan? I was only using the opportunity to point out hypocricy by a bunch of people that would use a national forum (ala Limbaugh) to humiliate an innocent young girl out of political derision but defends the dumbshittery of their chosen ones. I guess the silver spoon set has it's own special burdens to bear. It's just human frailty, right?

Just out of curiousity why did she fire them? What did politics have to do with it? They didn't do anything wrong? Enlighten me.

Nope. What I'm saying is that it is ironic how someone like Chelsea has been attacked publicly as a young child merely for being ugly yet the Bush Brothers seem to have children that exhibit a consistent pattern of poor behavior without the same degree of scorn.

On the same token, those who praise GW and Jeb for their moral superiority are some of the same who have accused Bill and Hillary of being examplars of immorality. Well, apparently Bill and Hillary did one thing very well that the Bushies seem to have not had a handle on. And it's something that is noteworthy when conservatives are constantly brandishing their moral authority as a weapon.

By the way, none of us can be completely responsible for our children's poor choices. However, when our children exhibit patterns of poor behavior that reflect poorly on themselves and their families then it is not inappropriate to praise those who have somehow managed the tough job of raising dignified and respectful citizens.
