Considering America’s industrial and agricultural heartland has been gutted over the last half century, this possibility could be grave. As one commentator put it, the impact of the Iran oil bourse on the U.S. dollar—and the follow-on effect on the U.S. economy—could be worse than Iran launching a “direct nuclear attack.”
Then we should react to it as such.

I think this article exaggerates the effect of such a move. But I'm no economy expert.

Sorry you chose to call it a craphole. But Iran is a beatiful country.
We should put our resources into making oil worthless through technological innovation. This isn't rocket science.

A. Iran is a beautiful country
b. Full of men who fornicate boys, beasts of burden and wipe their ass with their hands
C. Support terrorism in Iraq and Afganistan vs US Forces
D. All of the above
I eagerly await the day, when the US invents, mass produces and becomes independent with a fuel source that allows us to tell the Armpits of the world to go have coitus with themselves and let them fight each other with sticks for the crumbs left from their useless desert.

Honestly, although no one would want the dollar to crash, our dollar is a bit stronger than many businesses are comfortable with. A strong dollar means our goods are more expensive overseas, which makes it more difficult to compete overseas.

Let me guess, you still voted for Bush?
