If he is truly out for the season, they are still fine with Maddox.

He's a righty so it could certainly be worse. I started him today, 12pts will probably do for me, though. I'm down by 4, his whole team has finished except for Elam and I have Vinatieri and Priest still going/to go. If Ben comes back and tosses a couple more yards and a TD that would clench it.

No, they aren't. Damnit. Then I'm stuck with Favre.

Maddox would get them to the playoffs, but you don't want him as your QB on the road. Or in the playoffs. Especially on the road in the playoffs.

Ben may not be healthy, all he did was take a knee.

Yeah, your franchise QB who is showing all signs of being all-world isn't quite right and instead of sending him to the locker room you trot him out to take a knee. Uh huh, that makes sense.

They may not want to let on that he's hurt. It's been done before.

Dude, it's definitely been done before, and with other positions, too.

The Broncos subbed in a migraine-impaired Terrell Davis in the Super Bowl with no intention of handing off to him.

Of course, Big Ben appears to be fine, but my theory is still sound. :harumph:

If you ask me it's about as sound as your "how to pick up chicks" theory.

Dude, that's the Browncos coached by The Rat, not a football team.
