Talked to the Prez of our company a few weeks ago about our summer company lunches. He asked me about bbq and I mentioned Jack Stack. He said he had heard of them but had never tried it out. He had his secretary order about $500 in food and it is warning up right now. Mmmmmmmm.
My tummy is looking forward to lunch in an hour and half!

mmmmmmmmmmm

I'm hungry now!!! :cuss:

Too bad I'm in the Springs today, or I'd hit up Brickyard for a combo plate of briskte/pork/links.

I must say that that is a bunch of crap that you are in Vancouver eating Jack Stack, while I'm in KC eating vegetable soup and a hot dog.

hahahahaha. After these newbies get a taste of real bbq, there won't be any left.

When I was a Sr. in HS a guy moved to KC from NY. We needed some help passing Chemistry (which he'd already taken) so we invited him out for BBQ in return for some help (see "doing out homework"). He declines because "BBQ sucks". Come to find out his only BBQ experience was Kraft BBQ sauce on some meat.

15 years later he's back on the East coast and ordering sauce by the case. Last time I went to visit him I "had" to bring a case of Gates' sauce with me.

Nothing but rave reviews from my co-workers! Everyone loved it and complained that they couldn't eat any desert because they were fat, dumb and happy. I am now the hero for suggesting it. Sure beat burgers on the grill. Oh, and I am very full..... ROFL

Vancouver Rocks, I was there this summer and loved it. Their Aqarium is the bomb. The pot cafe's were very cool also. People sitting around rolling up J's. But you have to smoke in a tiny room in the back. It looked l,ike Cheech and Chongs living room in there. I think KC need a pot cafe-maybe there wouldn't be so many uptight pr#cks during rush hour.

The triangle is heavenly in comparison to an actual rush hour in any major city.
