I don't think anyone. I think Notre Dame will put up a fight, but will still lose.

Hopefully Texas can if they meet in January.

Who would you say would win if you had a gun to your head?

I thought we had a hard schedule, but New England's is much worse.

Cal has enough offense to shoot it out with them, but no defense whatsoever.

I'll go with Vince Young, sadly.

You might be surprised. Way back when, the College All Stars would play the current SB champions. Along about '63 or '64, The Collegians came within an eyelash of beating the Packers I think it was. They quit doing that shit pronto.

It does make you think, what chance does USC have against a team like the Houston?

And kids had to walk 3 miles in the snow just to get to school.

Whenever it was, it was right after the close call IIRC.

Texas won't beat them. Texas is the best team in the Big 12, but that's not saying much. The whole conference is crappy.

I've looked all over Google for info on the old College All Star gmes and can't find a thing. While I think it's true that the worst pro team can probably beat the best college team (?) an All Star team is a different breed of cat. I remember seeing the roster of that team that almost won after a few years had gone by and it was awesome. Just look at what one great draft did for the Steelers in the 70's. That still doesn't equal an All Star team.

USC and Texas are the two best teams in college football regardless of the strength of their conferences. USC would certainly be favored, but Texas can beat USC.

I found some info about the College All-Stars game at http://www.hickoksports.com/history/collalls.shtml

Looks like the All-Stars beat the Packers in '63.
