Downfall-starring Bruno Ganz

Winner Best German film, Audience award winner Bavarian films, Best actor Santa Barbara film festival,
and Acadamy Award Nominee-Best Foreign film.

Takes you into the Hitlers Bunker for his last days. Seen through the eyes of his secretary Traudi Junge, it is horrifying and haunting.

This blows Saving Private Ryan away. You feel like you are right there watching it. Bruno is dead on with Hitler. One minute he is a kind and feeble old man. Next he is a raving evil lunatic. This is the best movie I have seen this year, and best war movie ever. There are scenes that I will never forget. A must see for History buffs.

12 halfcans of beer out of a 12 pack. My highest rating!!

I'll bet it would have been even better with 12 full cans of beer. :p

I need to find a place around here that has more foreign films.

Hey Luv how are you tonight? Funny, I went to Blockbuster last night and ended up with 3 foreign films. German, French and Japan-all subtitled. It makes you pay attention when you have to read. I felt I was catching on to the language a bit.

This film is not for the lighthearted-it is the most powerful film I have seen. I mean Berlin was just bombed back to the stone age-and this film is as realistic as it gets.

I used to rent at Blockbuster years ago. I probably owe them money, who knows? I've been renting at Movie Gallery. Good selection of newer releases, but nothing old or foreign. I may see about going back to Blockbuster.

Oh, and I'm doing fine. Just bored as usual.

PS Check your PM's.
