I, Simplex3, have been entirely too hard on Jarod Allen. He, DJ, and Bell may yet be a nice start on our rebuild starting in the next year or two.

Allen should get Bell's salary...Bell is almost worthless.

Jared Allen should be every chiefs fan's hero! Without his two forced fumbles, we more than likely lose this game.

ba humbug? he is part of our team so his contributions should correlate to how the team does, shouldn't it?

I guess that is the optimistic way of looking at it.

I am calling the NFL front office. I really don't think games should be determined by momentum shifting bursts of greatness by individual players. Allen's sacks, FFs, and fumble recoveries need to go, Priest's 60 yard TD needs to be discounted, and the same goes for the 70 yard TD reception Moss had.

He was certainly the player of the game, and I'd say he's a strong case for AFC defensive player of the week.
