I'm still pissed we released Harts...he's no worse than Wesley and has more upside in my opinion

It was sad seeing how well Sean Taylor covers and hits..he puts Wesley to shame.

Wesley got JOBBED on that interception today. Horrible call.

However, he was responsible for two touchdowns. Inexcusable.

I'm ready to see what Bartee can do.

We couldn't release Wesley or Woods. They're contracts make for large cap hits.

Bartee is listed as a SS. Wesley plays FS.

Personally I'd rather see Woods in there.

That was a HUGE F*&ckup by Carl a few years ago....especially considering they way they both got toasted in the Colts playoff game.

Yea those contracts were really stupid. The Woods one is actually worse considering he was 30 years old when they signed the damn contract. I wonder what fool decided he was that important......

I don't really think it makes much of a difference.

wesley has done some good things for our defense. a lot of game saving tackles when our d-line and linebackers wouldn't tackle. I would like to keep the guy around KC for a while. Woods is another story.

Yea, he has made some decent tackles over the years, but hes a huge liability in the passing game overall. Sadly, he looks like our best option at this time.....Hes just never developed into what i thought he would be 4 and 5 years ago.

Until recently, Wesley played SS too.

I think the answer here is obvious. Trade Eric Hicks straight up for Brian Dawkins. :p

Agreed. McCleon is a much bigger liability

Another poster (don't remember who) brought this up, but it is a strong issue. When we blitz, we don't play our CBs close. On one play, I noticed that we blitzed two or three guys, but our CB/S was playing a good ten yards off of Santana Moss. Brunell just made a quick toss, and they were off and running. Yes, their best receiver was left wide open during the two seconds Brunell had to make a throw. It's such an elementary strategic mistake that it's infuriating.
