Congrats to the Broncos on a hard fought game. They're clearly better than the Patriots this year.*

To all Chiefs fans -- my apologies for my boys not getting it done against either the Chargers or the Broncos to help you guys out. Believe me, I'd change that if I could.

*This statement is limited to situations in which the Patriots are missing (1) their starting running back (Pro Bowl alternate Corey Dillon), (2) their 3rd down specialist running back (Kevin Faulk), (3) their starting left tackle (Matt Light), (4) their all-pro defensive lineman (Richard Seymour), (5) their pro bowl linebacker (Tedy Bruschi), (6) their other starting inside linebacker who retired unexpectedly just before the season started (Ted Johnson), (7) their pro bowl strong safety (Rodney Harrison), (8) their third WR (Troy Brown), (9), a starting cornerback (Tyrone Poole), and (10) the guy who replaced Rodney Harrison (Guss Scott) therefore leaving us with a rookie with 1 prior game of experience as starting SS.

I was shocked when I was coming home from the game and you guys were behind 21-3. You guys almost came back.

Anyway I hear Bruschi has been cleared to practice. That should be an interesting decision.

Props to the Pats for making a game of it....Brady almost got it done.

I thought it was a tremendous effort. You guys had no business even coming close to tying that game, yet you almost did...

We haven't been hit by the injury bug. We've been hit with the injury biblical locust swarm... :shake:

Yeah. We could certainly use him. On one level though, I'm not sure it's worth it. Our secondary is a disaster without Rodney, and I'm not at all sure we can really moutn a serious threat to go to the SB, so I'm not sure he should risk it.

But, apparently, the doctors are okay with it, so what the hell do I know? Also, 3-3 with a much softer 10 games to go isn't too horrible a position to be in.

Would have preferred the Foxboro venue. The 12th man would have flipped it the other way.

As the season progresses, the Chiefs need to climb while the Broncos fall.

DUCK FENVER!

Your biggest handicap is Beisel.

Right now it's probably the secondary. He didn't give up those two 70 yard bombs...

He was, however, the guy that overpursued on the run by Bell, which resulted in the cutback lane that he took for 70 yards. :shake:

He's still pretty new in our system. For obvious reasons, I still drink the Belichick Kool-Aid, so we'll see.

One of the few things more annoying than Pats posts on a Chiefs board is Pats posts that give the Broncos love on a Chiefs board. F*ck the Patriots and the Broncos.

Good point. I'll keep that in mind. I'll never do this again.(1)(2)(3)

(1) I'm lying.

(2) My initial post on this thread was obviously sarcastic, but you must have missed it. Suggest you readjust your sarcasm meter.

(3) For someone whose team won yesterday, you seem to be in a pretty s****y mood. Suggest valium.

I'll bet you threw up in your mouth, just a little... to post this thread.

Even if it was sarcastic.

I hope Bruschi (sp?) turns it around for you guys a little bit, but he can't cover deep balls.

I still hope we whip your collective butts later in the season. But I was rooting for you to whip the Asses of the AFCW yesterday. Hopefully we will help you guys get a game back next weekend when we take on the 'Phins.

By the way, I find it interesting that the Patriots injured players are to blame for this loss. I thought that whiny bitch Tom Brady just got his vagina in a knot for someone else insinuating the same thing a few games ago.

As for my bad mood, coming to this board and seeing the first post is some Pats fan jacking off the Broncos does that to me.

Nah, not really. With injuries like the one I listed, in a road game, immediately after another road game, a victory against any half-decent team really would be a miracle.

Let me put it this way -- if the Patriots were fully healthy and the Broncos had to play at Foxboro without their best defensive lineman, their best linebacker, their best safety, their TWO best running backs, their starting left tackle, a starting cornerback and their #3 WR -- what do you think the result would have been?

That's basically what the Patriots had to do yesterday.

I hope Bruschi (sp?) turns it around for you guys a little bit, but he can't cover deep balls.

Believe me, I know. But Beisel overpursued on two plays that really hurt. One was the 70 yard Bell run. The other was on the catch by Putzier that gave them a 1st down and really ended any chance of a comeback.

Yeah, we're 1-2 against the AFC West. Really sorry about that.

Actually, I agreed with Marty's comments. But Brady got PO'ed about it and decided to take offense, to spark up the team, mebbe, and I'm not exactly going to argue with the guy.

As for my bad mood, coming to this board and seeing the first post is some Pats fan jacking off the Broncos does that to me.

Sorry. My deepest sympathies for putting you in a bad mood to start the day.*

*I'm still lying. I honestly don't care that you got your "vagina in a knot" as you so eloquently put it.

For all the genius that is Bellichik I still don't get why they were hot after two of our linebackers (Biesel and apparently they still like MaSLOWski)...

Here come the Pats fans with excuses in hand. :deevee:
Injuries are part of football and have been the cause for the decline of many programs.

It's easy to act right when you are winning year after year; its how you handle adversity that shows who you really are and judging by the piss-poor sportsmanship and overall whiny-bitch tone of your post I'd say you aren't about much.

Your team lost. Give the other team credit and don't make excuses.

Any post that involves a Bronco fan calling other team's fans "whiny-bitchy" is inherently funny.

 I'm not whining about it, dems just the facts. I'm not the coach or a player. I don't need to ignore injuries. I'm just noting that it's just a little tough to win in this league if you lose that many key players.

The donks killed us yesterday. Margin of difference was far more than 8 points, I think, although that was the final score. I don't pretend for a second they didn't thrash us. I would like, however, to know how things might have turned out with two healthy teams going at it. Would've been a bit more interesting of a game to watch, at least.

I see your point. It would have been nice to have a healthy Champ Bailey in the game as well. Football is what it is; it strikes me as poor sportsmanship to blame a loss on injuries instead of crediting the other team for playing better. If this does not apply to you please accept my apology.

Of all games to lose.........why oh why oh why?????

Do not lose to any AFC west team except the Chiefs. OK, are we clear?

Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.

I don't mind losing to the Chargers much, but losing to the Donx flat sucks. I'm with you there.

Sorry my boys couldn't get it done to help you guys out. I'm sure I'll be forgiven if the Chiefs performing a similar beat down on my booys when we play later in the year. All the same, though, I'll have to root for that to NOT happen. Sorry.
