Since my wife acquired tickets to the Dolphins game as an early birthday present for me, as well as reservations at a beautiful hotel with a balcony overlooking the ocean, naturally a Category 5 hurricane pops up out of nowhere and makes a 90 degree turn to find Miami.

So, not only will I probably not get to see the Chiefs play, I may get to go through a killer hurricane as well...

Thanks, Wilma!

Well you could me in Kansas City wondering if this weekend is too late to aearate the yard and plant new seed for next spring.

Or you could be getting ready for the 50 degree and colder spell that's about to stay with us.

I'd take a couple days of hell for year round nice weather.

I've always wanted to go to an away game...

Which is quite possible since I live almost exactly between Oakland and Denver... Some day maybe

I don't know. I think I'd rather have the little, everyday annoyances than to have to lose everything I have. Of course, the same thing could happen here with tornadoes. The west coast has quakes. No place is safe! :deevee:

Even the most extreme of tornadoes effects just a few square miles of the Earth.

No way would I trade tornadoes for hurricanes.

Don't use logic with me. I'm in the middle of a nervous breakdown here!

I guess if you like the 700% humidity... ;)

Then again, 50 degrees sounds pretty nice to me, so what do I know...

Not much to worry about here, other than the occasional snow storm. :D

So, we may not even have a game this weekend if the storm gets there Sunday!?

Wow!

I didn't know that "Logic" was even in a female's vocabulary!

People always tell me that I overthink everything. I guess that doesn't necessarily mean I use logic. :hmmm:

No that means you overanalyze. It's a common female trait which my wife has in spades. It provides hours of comedic entertainment for me.

Yeah, that must be rough to have to put on a sweater before you leave the house......

Down here in paradise where it's 90+ degrees with 90%+ humidity 10 months a year we never have to worry about that....Just the occasional 300 mile wide, 160 mph hurricane...

You just described us a month and a half ago for almost 2 months straight, but try add 10 more degrees with 90% humidity.

It's only getting worse. Before long we'll be in the 10s for the high followed by sub 0 lows.

You don't want no parts of the midwest.
You can't handle the truth.
