Then this would be a National HD game and they would get Madden and Michaels to Cover it and they would grovel at the feet of the chiefs and then they would sign Green and Roaf to Tv Commercials and Blah:banghead:

Well, if the Chiefs ever win another Super Bowl, then maybe we can get special privledges as well.

If the Chiefs played better, they would get more media attention.

Does not require a vast conspiracy to explain why the Chiefs are not covered in media drool.

If the Chiefs want to get the same kind of media attention that the Pats do, they are going to need to win their first Superbowl since the invention of radio, TV, internet, etc.

Awful thread. We don't deserve a fraction of the media attention the Pats get.

Despite all the negativity, this game should be on National TV.

I suspect the whores at ESPN will jump on this pretty quick...and that means the return of Sterling.

Good GAwd NO!!! We'd probably end up with Berman and JAckson. MOre likely that the Sunday night guys do the game as they don't broadcast the 1st weekend of the WS

Teams that are not consistent playoff contenders do not get much national media love. As a Patriots fan, whose team was completely ignored for most of the first 40 years of the team's existence, I'm more than well aware of this.

Win a SB or two, or go to the playoffs every year for 4 in a row or whatever, and watch the love flow your way.

Why the hell should it be a national televised game?

Do you also want your players in Visa Commercials too?.......How about Trent doing gay ass photo shoots for GQ?

Ok Im thinking that i was misunderstood, and im sure its partly my fault... the only point i was trying to make is that alot of things regarding this whole hurricane/nfl situation would be different if we had won 3 of the last SB. Im sure we would have had an answer yesterday and Im sure that the game would have been nationally Televised.. Thats all.. and then after seeing Ol' Tom boy and all of the commericals for the Patriots I have some built up animosity toward them Sorry

Pretty sure your point was taken the way you just laid it out, but as everyone else has said, win something and people might care to get you on National. No disrespect to the Chiefs, but your arguing with your own point.

If the Dolphins were the Patriots you would also be on national. Thin of it that way.

79,000 people come to the game. Lamar and Carl get rich. They feel no need to change anything. The team doesn't make the playoffs. Then they wonder why they don't get attention. :hmmm:

C'mon... if the Chiefs were the Patriots, they'd be on a bye this week and it would be a non-issue.
