His girlfriend or wife sits next to us at the games. She isn't too rough on the eyes, so I'm glad to see him stick around. ;)

He drilled that 51 yarder, lol. I was REALLY impressed. The 52 yarder, it looked like he was being careful to make sure it was accurate, not nearly as pwerful as the 51 yarder.

Keep ****ing doubting Lawrence Tynes!

I was tempted to get on here and post both a Keep ****ing Doubting LT and a Keep ****ing Doubting Dusting Colquitt thread tonight. Both guys looked freaking awesome tonight.

I've felt that Tynes would eventually become the kind of kicker he appears to be becoming.

But I know that GoatCheese is a Tynes fan, so I just thought I'd beat him to that post.

Tynes said the field tonight was the best field he's played on in the NFL.

One of the commentators said the same thing. Said it was immaculate and he hasn't seen one as good this for a long time.

Yeah - it was so perfect that on TV it almost looked like field turf.

BS..he's only as good as the other team is crappy.

His success is determined by other's failures.

Agreed. Lawrence Tynes would suck ass against a good field goal defense. :)

I'm really proud of Tynes but we all know that he's only as good as his next kick. I hope he knows it......IMO the kicks he's missed that he should have made was because he was to relaxed. I think his mistakes have caused him to feel the pressure and that pressure has made him baredown and it's made him improve. Salute to him and I hope he keeps it up.

Didn't Jan and Nick take a vacation trip to Scotland twenty some years ago? :hmmm:

That seals it. Lawrence Tynes is the love child of Jan Stenerud and Nick Lowery.
