I wonder if Fatlock will write about how good San Diego's defense is pr about they were lucky that Philly mismanged the clock and made stupid play calls on 4th down and how McNabb missed wide open recievers?

gotta love marty-ball. run game isn't working so you run three straight times and leave it in the hands of the kicker for only a TD lead..... and the rest is hilarious

Marty is a slow, slow learner. I saw this situation developing with 8 minutes left. Marty, if you'd like to prevent these types of losses in the future I'm your man. For a paltry $500k per year I'll consult on your staff and you'll never lose a game in this fashion again.

Good thing - if we can keep the game close there is a 90% chance of Marty botching the game and giving us the win.

I loved it. We were sitting there me and my roommates and i was like "Wouldn't it be awesome if they blocked the fg and returned it for the TD" Then we started to talk about returning a fg - the rules regarding such a thing" Then 30 seconds later it happens. I think my ego shot through the roof.

I dunno, that seemed a lot more like a spirit-breaking loss than it seemed like a loss that would fire SD up. To come back and take the lead, then see the whole thing fall apart on the FG try has to be crushing. Then to fight past that and get in position to tie the game (if not win) only to cough it up and lose has to be an even bigger kick in the balls.

There sure were a lot of long faces on the SD sideline.

I used to feel sorry for Marty, but now I get a lot of amusement seeing him lose games over & over again in that fashion.

I was playing golf today here in San Diego and at around 3:00 CST I could here everyone from the houses around the fairway screaming a lot of F-bombs. Now I know why. ROFL
