7. For those of you who missed Kansas City's Friday Night Lights victory over the Dolphins, you didn't miss anything remotely impressive.

Had the Dolphins chosen to play a quarterback with Division I talent, they would've pounded the Chiefs. In a league with Joey Harrington, J.P. Losman, Kyle Orton, AnthonyKyle BollerWright and Michael Vick, Gus Frerotte is the worst passing QB in professional football.

Kansas City's defense was miserable in a 30-20 Chiefs victory, but Frerotte bailed out KC's defenders by underthrowing and overthrowing open receivers all evening. Something tells me Drew Brees won't have that problem this weekend.

Whitlock is just grinding an axe on Gus because he wants Miami to pick up George. He's so transparent.

Frerotte was bad, but did JW happen to see the red jerseys around him while he was throwing up ducks?

He should've talked more about Surtain struggling.

The best way to get back at Whitlock is to ignore him.

His entire basis of employment is creating controversy so that "idiot readers" get worked up BUT continue to read his columns daily.

Add to that, the guys obvious need for attention on a personal level, and who have an example of the modern "attention whore journalist". I use that last term VERY loosely.

In short, pay no attention to that fat man behind the empty Gates boxes.....

Not many saw the game, only the score.

Don't be fooled by the Dolphins 20-30 loss.

Larry Johnson could've cut left on the 36th play from scrimmage and scored. And Trent Green missed a wide open Eddie Kennison once..that could've been another TD.

Whitlock might bother me more if his shots at KC had some merit.

If he had come out and said "KC is still susceptible to the big play", that might have hit a nerve. But to come out and claim the D played poorly all game, when they clearly didn't, is just laughable.

He's clearly trying to take advantage of the small viewing audience to perpetuate the myth that our defense is just as bad as ever.

Nah - I actually kinda like it. It makes for great reading on the opposing team's message boards. They're so convinces the Chief's D is terrible that when we play them and pound their ass they freak out.

Ohh NO!!!1!! The media says we're not any better this week!! Run to the hills people.... Power Rankings and Tubby Whitlock say we aren't good at all, so it's completely hopeless..........

I wouldn't bet too much on the power rankings..... they are the equivalent of Entertainment Weekly discussing the importantance of Paris Hilton's outfit at last weeks celebrity bash.....

I wasn't particularly impressed with the play of our secondary, but that is because the play standing out in my head is the overthrown ball in the back of the endzone where the receiver was wide open.
Our defensive line did a very good job pressuring Frerotten into throwing those bad passes.

The bottom line is that our offense controlled the clock so that our defense didn't have to rush right back out on the field. We held the ball for 41 minutes, scoring 24 first downs to their 9.

Shhhhh...Whitlock gets mad when you rebut his columns with the facts. We just need to accept that Frerotte gave us the game and it had nothing to do with the Chiefs dominating on both sides after arriving in the city two days early to play a game only hours after touchdown.

He's usually much more subtle with his jabs at KC. Odd.Yeah, I've been wondering about that, too.

Might be because he's no longer on the air anymore, can't afford to be subtle, because he's less relevant the less visible he is. It's getting to the point for me that I've almost forgotten completely about the guy. Out of sight (or hearing), out of mind.

So, is this east coast media bias since he works for espn, or midwest media bias?

By his own accord Jason was in fear of Wilma so I doubt that he was able to really take in the game. He was scared but the Chiefs flew into Miami and took care of business :hmmm: I'm sure that as he staired off into the horizon looking for Wilma he was still able to find a reason to bash the Chiefs. Or maybe as he sat there with his ead between his knees kissing his pork butt good bye. I don't know.......what a panzy!

I still think he wants Woody's gig & if Woody actually graduated college in 1963 he'll be turning 65 next year.

I think the fourm should ban any posts that contain articles of whitlock, until he starts writing facts. I don't give a sh*t if he tells the truth, but all this stuff is just to get us pissed off. When he does that he is winning, he doesnt have a radio show anymore, so he has to have a good way to try to stir people up.

SO PEOPLE STOP POSTING THIS WORTHLESS SH*T UNTIL THE WHITLOCK STARTS WRITING FACTS. I DONT CARE OF THE FACTS ARE GOOD OR BAD ABOUT THE CHIEFS, JUST SO IT HAS MERIT.

If he wasn't on the ground he should have hit the receiver. 90% of NFL QBs will hit that open receiver. It's not like he was throwing up ducks to guys that were double covered, the receivers were WIDE OPEN. He simply missed them because he sucks. Brees will not miss those guys no matter how many "red jerseys are around him".

I hate to admit it but he's right. If Gus doesn't miss two wide open guys in the end zone it's a whole different game.
