After all the hype given this guy, anytime he gets his name read, it is being catalogued in my brain, as if I had a choice.

Anyways, he is #2 on the Depth chart at MLB behind Kawika Mitchel, the born again MLB. Any Chance Scanlon gets meaningful playing time this year?

He has gotten some reps at OLB in the 3-4.

I think the status of Barber has significant effect on Scanlons time.

I will admit, Boomer has really came on as of late on Special Teams.

Your creation has taken on a life of its own. Our grandkids will come on the Planet 20 years from now talking about Rich Scanlon.

I think it says a lot about NFLE when the defensive league MVP can't start for a mediocre NFL defense behind a second year guy.

There should be a new CP gambling thread: Guess the time on the game clock when Scanlon gets this week's special teams penalty.

I'm going to say... 4:38 left in the 2nd.

Right about the time Dante steps into the endzone after a 78yard kickreturn. :shake:

I agreed. PreSeason wasn't enough

Give Boomer some playing time

I guess if we can't get in a big rout game up by 24 get 'em in.

Let's shoot for this Week against the Faiders.

Exactly, it could basically be, will Rich Scanlon's special teams penalty this week be in the first or second half? And instead of the line moving by points, they could move it forward or backward a minute or two.

The money's coming in heavy on the second half, when it will hurt us more!

Why do you guys have so much against Rich ?

Can I have a good honest answer, or is that too much to ask for ?

It sounds as if cause he was a undrafted free agent that he doesnt deserve to be on the team.

Just let the guy play. This shit is gettin too old.

I think he hits hard, like a wild man, has no fear, but makes mistakes. I would have never noticed the dude though, if there weren't umpteen billion threads started on him in the off season. I just looked at the board today and said, "hey, we haven't had a discussion on Scanlon in a while". That's all. Rock on.

It is a running joke on the board because he was an undrafted free agent that got more pimping than a pro bowler by certain elements of the board. And thus far his biggest contribution in two seasons has been, what, a tackle on a kickoff?

Nobody has got anything against him personally. We all hope he turns into the next Zach Thomas. But that doesn't mean that people aren't going to crack jokes while he's still a special-teams afterthought.

You must have a lot of room in you brain. All those penalties he's racked up on specials teams takes up a lot of space.
