Are huge becaue they are game that are very winnable and we have to win them. If we can take the next 2 and move to 7-3 we are in great position to make a home playoff push for the playoffs.

Buffalo will not be easy on the road, we are banged up and the offense has many issues.

The Texans game should be a no-brainer........no way we should lose that one.....IM curious, when was the last time we won in Buffalo??

Next week'll be crucial. We should definitely focus on running at them. They're not bad against the pass, but they've struggled with the run. On the other side of the ball, they run much better than they throw, which is to our benefit. Matchup wise it's a good game for us. We'll see though.

I agree...like I said in another post.

This team looked like it had something turned around last year only to lose to teams they should have beaten....

I will feel alot better if we take care of business this next two weeks.

Good teams take care of division opponents at home. We've beaten Denver like a drum at Arrowhead in December.

Well I'll be here at the giants game hoping we can pull it out. My sisters boyfriend owns a car dealership with ex giant lineman brad benson and he gave me his tix for that game. So i'll be in his seats with my chiefs stuff on baby!!!

True, but this years Denver team looks damn good.......If we are 100% healthy for those games, its ON!

Denver looked good after 8 games last year, too.

Plummer is going to throw more than 3 interceptions in the second half of this season. And Tatum Bell's ludicrous 7.0 YPC is going to come down.

Plus, they have like 10 sacks. ROFL

The Buffalo game will be a tough challenge. A road game is always tougher. Let's hope the Chiefs run it down their throats. We need to win that game and start making a second half of the season push. I saw the offense finally starting to get into a groove. Jordan Black has ALOT of work to do, but he made some strides today. I sure hope we can get some momentum going. Vermeil and company deserve ALOT of praise for their ballsy ass playcall on the last play of the game. Props for sacking up.

Yes, but they two great WR that proley do great agianst our Defense...

Then there is that guy McGahee...

Then the fact that it is a road game...

Then the fact that our OC does not always do what is the correct thing...

But, its okay.. because you siad it is a sure thing...

They have barely beaten those teams at home... Denver is exactly like our team in 2003... Crap defense, barely win and everything goes there way right now...

I wonder how many stories we will see next week about LJ Vs. McGahee??

"Larry, do you feel like you have something to prove after being the 2nd running back picked behind an injured McGahee in 2003?"

Both teams have horrendous run defenses, at least from the times I've watched them, maybe the stats tell a different story. We really need to play Miami-type games and pound them, control the ball, stop the run on D.

Good friend of mine is a Bills fan. According to him the run D is that bad. If we run and defend the run we'll beat the Bills, simple as that for this game.

Actually, no Mcgahee went then Johnson went a few picks later.

No, the Bills took McGahee even with a blown out knee over LJ... we got LJ like 3-4 picks later.

They took McGahee because they liked him and thought, when healthy, he was the BPA. It wasn't an anti-LJ pick. They didn't even need an RB really.

Johnson got overlooked..plain and simple...I guess at the time alot of people thought he was overrated coming out and the 'Penn State Curse" and all....if we wouldnt have taken him, he probably would have fallen to the 2nd round....

What IS the actual prognosis on Roaf?

Black was getting pretty beat up on the left side, and we pretty much made no $ rushing to the left side.

Sure hope Surtain is back next week (and Priest).

Larry's long TD was over the left side.

Honestly, as someone that is subjected daily to inside info on the Bills here is my take:

We can't come into Buffalo and not play our best or we'll lose. If we come in and pound the ball, play aggressive defense, and everyone plays hard overall, we'll come out with a close win, somewhat similar to the score of today's game.

I have to deal with Buffalo football on a daily basis. My opinion is that LJ is a far superior back to Willis.

I'm guessing he would be a Titan right now if we hadn't taken him. They chose right after us in the first and the comparisons to a young Eddie George were already being made.

All these back to back road games are tough. It's like the NFL wanted to ensure that we get 4 losses for sure. Really tough to get back to back road wins.

Al will hear and decide to get pass happy.

Someone tell Al they have a great run D and a porous pass D.

Heh...you're off by a mile.

Yup. Denver's offense isn't even CLOSE to KC's 2003 offense.

Defensively they are similar. KC allowed 20.8 points per game in 2003. Denver is allowed 19.0 points per game.

How you like them apples?

More road apples coming from your mouth as always. Go look at the pussy schedule you played that year compared to the one we're playing now. Better yet, learn to watch a football game. Or do you actually watch any of the games?

More nonsense. The Chiefs defeated several good teams in 2003. If they were truly "frauds" as you have suggested, they would have been punked when they went up against good teams.

Can you tell me which 2003 defense surrendered fewer points against the Colts in the playoffs?
