CBS showed a interesting graphic during today's game of the Chiefs Red Zone TD%.
2002 TD% is 65.6, Ranked 1st in the NFL.
2003 TD% is 77.8, Ranked 1st in the NFL.
2004 TD% is 67.8, Ranked 2nd in the NFL.
2005 TD% is 46.2, Ranked 23rd (tie) in the NFL.
Discuss.
Cross mentioned that they figured this up and it came to an avg. of 6 points per game we're missing out on when compared to our 3 previous seasons because of missed opportunities in the red zone.
Definitely needs to be improved.

More than anything I think it reflects the decline in our offensive line and injuries hitting it as well.

Agreed. I also want to throw in questionable playcalling into the mix as well.

KC got three TD's in four red zone opportunities today so that percentage, while low, went up today :)
