Check out Waters and Dunn. They just destroyed the middle of the field.
Shields, Wiegmann and Jordan Black shoved Sapp and Ted Washington to the left. T-Rich got caught in behind LJ and didn't have to block anyone. LJ probably didn't even have to dive over, there was a huge hole and only Tommy Kelley could have stopped him.

Nice job, best ones I have seen!

Shields, Wiegmann and Black pwning. It looks to me like Sapp and Washington expected the run to go left. Maybe they forgot Roaf was out?

I think Sapp and Washington went left because they saw the hole open up when Waters pulled to the other side.

That picture really shows the block coming that Dunn is going to put on Morrison.

AMAZING, look at that hole. 2 Raiders and 3 Chiefs getting ready to pancake their a**es.

Welbourn did a good job against the DE, too.

Look at how much ground Waters had to cover to get to Clark. That's why he's a pro bowler.

The goal line cam block is even better in motion, because Shields moves Sapp out of the way like he doesn't exist, Wiegmann throws Washington to the ground, Dunn blows Kirk Morrison back, and a pulling Waters eats up Clark.

It reminded me of a goal line run Blaylock had against the Falcons last year. If LJ didn't have jumping in his mind already, he could've walked in to his left.

I'm currently using the video as an avatar at another forum I post at. The Raiders fans there ARE LOVING IT. If I can find some good computer screen capturing software, I'm going to mock up an Ebay auction for the Raiders Mouths, and then show the mouse cursor moving over to the "Buy it Now" option, and then roll the video of LJ coming over the top.

I think this all shows why it was a gutsy call. If even one person misses a block, or we commit a penalty, or the Raiders guess right and just clog the middle with everyone, or the handoff gets muffed, we're sitting at 4-4. Flawless execution...

cool pics

#52 and #55 for the Raiders get f'in owned....that is sweet...you don't see gaps the wide around the goal line

but it looks like the key was Shields, he turns Sapp like a leaf and drives him into Washington taking them both out of the play

they'll have fun watching that in meetings!

I like the heads up play of Waters. If you'll notice in the video, he starts to hit Morrison, but realizes Dunn has him taken care of so he immediately turns his attention to the other LB and wipes him out.

The one that gets me is Wiegmann on Washington...he's giving up almost 70 pounds in the matchup...

Perfect blocking all the way around... That's the Shields I like to see tearing holes through the line. Wiegmann is a stud. You can really see how bad these guys wanna win this..........

Excellent post!

Yeah, it'd be great if they performed at this level the whole game... situations like this wouldn't exist. I guess there's only that much fuel left in the tank.

Love those old IOWA HOGS, ay...me too.

This play shows how dam important the footwork is to those
BIG SOB's up front. To think that Waters got around Weigman
with out tripping on Weigmans feet is amazing to me.
This was text book blocking. Coach's from all levels of football
can use this video to explain blocking 101. This play could be used by NFL films for years much like the old "Ice Bowl" block that gave the Packers the win over Dallas in that NFL Championship game that allowed
Bart Star to score the game winning TD.

The video of that play will go down in NFL films history when you
observe all the blocking techniques and execution of the blocking.

Watcing the video of that play on this thread is just AWESOME.
KUDO's to you guys for posting this and the highest REP possible
to you guys. THanks a bunch.

Sapp just plain got abused there.

And I was noticing through the binoculars at the game sunday when Sapp was on the sideline... when he played for Tampa he looked big, but now he just plain looks FAT. Time for him to hang those ham hocks up.

Yep. I still think Washington was intending to go to his right. Maybe Wiegmann just got off the snap quicker.
