TO gets about 100x more attention than he deserves for his pathetic bad boy behavior. God forbid the NFL become akin to the NBA, the home of the ridiculously spoiled, bad boy superstars who think rules don't apply to them. :shake:

I really wonder to what audience ESPN is catering their broadcasting. I think both hardcore and casual fans alike get tired of the bullshit ESPN will drive into the ground.

Talking heads will admit to themselves and each other that they should drop the story, but they never take it to the next level of thinking and start to wonder if the people that watch or read them actually care.

Drew Rosenhaus...claiming Terrell was sincere in last weeks apology, "Apparently that wasn't good enough."
I'd love if he said, "But I do have some good news. Terrell just saved..."

It still absolutly cracks me up that this asshat WANTS to go to the Eagles enough to sue the NFL, signs a contract with one of the few teams that NEVER negotiates on their deals, and then bitches when they will not rework his contract after ONE year. Frigging CLUELESS! Seriously, his Mother should fly out there and kick his ass for embarrassing her.

For those that missed it, the jist of the press conference:

TO is really sorry that his antics have lead to consequences. He has the utmost respect for himself and his ability to play the game, and would like to take this moment to kiss as much ass as he possibly can to avoid losing any more money, especially his signing bonus. Drew Rosenhouse would like to reiterate: especially his signing bonus. Any questions? Next question. Next question. Next question. Let me reiterate: especially his signing bonus.

He's still a step or two away from coming out. Let's not pressure him. It needs to be his decision. Shhhhhhhh.....

Jim and TJ have shown me the error of my ways, and I'm kinder and gentler in my outing these days. Political correctness has finally found it's way to SD, and I've been indoctrinated.

It all depends on one thing: Will he help us win a championship.

If the answer is yes, then despite the criticism that would follow, Shanahan would move on it.

If the answer is no, then we won't.

I'm uncertain of the salary cap implications...

Now, was the issue that they wanted him to apologize to the team and to Donovan. He already made his Leon needs ESPN air time apology already, I think the team was looking for him to man up and make an apology to the team face to face.

ESPNews aired an interview with Rodney Harrison a few minutes ago. Harrison absolutely ripped Owens, basically said he was a POS and that he wouldn't want him on his team or in his city. He also went on to belittle Owens' Super Bowl performance, which was pretty funny ("It's not like he won it"). :D

Interesting to hear a player say it publicly, but I doubt if he'll be the last.

Sounds about right. I'm probably one of the few here that would argue, as much as I despise his whole persona--that if he'd keep his mouth shut, I'd sign him this year , anyway, if we could do it.

Thanks.

No, I think the Eagles are just the type of organization, that would rather fork over the coin after the suspension, and keep his ass locked up off the field, where he so desires to be.

Just think about it. A whole season of TO NOT being able to be at the center of attention. They will do unto him as he did unto them.
