Cool. I'm going to guess he didn't get into specifics about what had him all screwed up.

Come to think of it, we haven't had our entire offensive line or unit on the field yet, have we?

I bet he goes back to work and tells the team "Hey guess what, I met First Down Elvis last night..." :D

Nope, we talked about that too.

Said Trent gave a huge motivational speech before the game.

I met FDE once, I got nervous and ran away :). Actually I was always curious who you was, then I realized who you was at Sportnutz on the home opener this year.

Before we leap to "superfans", I think we should start with "playofffans" and get past that hurdle first.

Hey, I resent that! :p

I wasn't intending to be insulting or anything. I just had to chuckle - and then get depressed - at the use of the word 'super' for anything involving the Chiefs.

Thanks for sharing that, I am really pumped about this guy. How could he not be incredible with a name like Sampson?

I think we don't know the whole story behind his mysterious "dehydration". I just can't figure out how a 300 pound plus professional athelete on a "break" from training can suddenly become so dehydrated that he's in the hospital.

If KC had any real reporters working at the Star, I'm sure they could get to the bottom of this story. But I'm not buying it.

I'm with you 100 percent. I've been wondering the same thing. I was also thinking about the Priest incident in how he's now seeing a THIRD "specialist" yet he claims he doesn't know anything.

It wasn't just dehydration, but it's not my place to say. Besides, does it really matter, as long as he's ok?

in my opinion, he had too much MDMA and liquor. People at parties get dehydrated all the time from that. And since he had problems with dehydration anyway, this compounded and did him in.

Hmm, I guess I missed the "Superfan" posts, because I'm totally confused about all that. Anyway, I was in Tahiti during the bye week (and totally cut off from the U.S. civilization). When I read that story in the Star the following week, my Bat sense was instantly alerted.

Anyway, FDE just confirmed my lingering suspicion.
