I really think we need another rb, Mckensi Smith should be brought up

I think I'd prefer Smith, too. Brown is pretty pedestrian. Our HB depth chart should be:

Johnson
Richardson
Smith
5 WRs
Brown or Cruz

Id like to see what Cruz and Smith can do.

I thought Quinton Griffin would take that spot. Dee Brown knows the system, so he was the logical choice. LJ looks sound, and has wanted the rock... well kido, time to put up.

Brown was a solid player for the Panthers, they just had good depth in front of him. Its not that big of a deal unless LJ goes down.

Lots of comedians on this thread. None of whom should quit their day jobs.

I'm almost positive this decision was based on the fact that Brown has more time in our system than Smith does. Kinda helps with the learning curve.

As long as Smith is on the PS, he can be called up on a few days notice.

The problem becomes if another team wants him, we have to make room for him on the active roster....or release him.

How would Brown have more time in our system if he was sitting at home while Smith was on the practice squad?

Well, the Lions no longer own the rights to the REAL Barry Sanders, and he is a Kansas native... :hmmm:

What the hell?
Since we're already headed in that direction, I got a couple of names.

How about Jesse Haynes and Brian Shay!?

One of my best friend's college roommate is on the SD Practice Squad. His name is Ray Perkins. He looked better than Sproles in the preseason. We should sign him, so I will actually know a Chief.

Ray Perkins?

Isn't he that guy that did an outdoor show for Mutual of Omaha years ago?

He's to old! :)
