How many yards will Larry Johnson get?
i think the over under should be about 150.. i say over.

87. We will control the clock and keep him off the field. Willis gets 150.

136 yards 2 Tds

170 yards, 3 td's

More than 100 yards guaranteed.
More than 130 yards very probable.
One TD guaranteed.
More than 2 TDs very probable.

187

Especially if Sam Adams is acting like a child and/or warms the bench.

He will have a career day.

Naw, the bills will have made bye week adjustments, and Adams will be motivated to stop the run, and Justin Bannan will clog up the middle.

lol i couldn't type that with a straight face
LJ 126 2tds

Well, if they are thinking this way....I sure hope he has a great game.

I'll guess 138 yds rushing, 1 TD; 5 receptions, 53 yds, 1 TD

At least the Bills fans look like realists and not a bunch of Homers.

I am looking for Larry to have a good game. I have him in one FF league, but im already not doing well there.

and I have Priest in another league, where I am doing real well. but a buddy of mine reached for Larry and swooped him from me in the damn 5th rd!!!!!

Of course it looks good now, but he is already out of it. Blasted!!

Either way, Lets see some pissed off running LJ!!!

There is no homers here either.

I predict LJ to have just over 400 on the ground, 175 receiving, and will throw for 2 tds. So his total td count will be 9, but 5 will be from rushing, 2 from receiving, and throwing for 2. But, these stats only hold up if we take him out in the 3rd quarter, because we are blowing them out. Add another 100 on the ground and 1 td if it is a close game.

I like the one where they predict McGahee to have 150. He won't crack 100.

Jordan had 93 on only 19 carries.

Unless we can take advantage of their run D and build an early lead, I see him getting over 100.

19 carries.

Doesn't matter HOW we held him under 100 -- we did it.

And we'll do it to McGahee too.

As long as he doesn't fumble I'm happy...that said, I think he puts up 110 on the ground and 30 through the air. 2 TDs.

You know LJ won't get 50........Buffalo can't stop the run so naturally DV and AS will "air it out".

Seems logical to me that if the Johnson gets 285 yards, that Scanlon will get 286.

Buffalo doesn't have half the passing game Oakland does. We will be stacking the line the whole game instead of hanging back and playing the pass.

I feel for this guy, that's what I've said about nearly every QB we faced for the previous 3 years.

Actually, I don't like the Bills; I won't feel for him at all.

Mcgahee is twice the back that Jordan is. I expect him to have more success.

But even though Jordan was only moderately successful moving the ball, the Raiders would still likely have won if Collins hadn't been so off. Were it not for him missing some of those throws or throwing the critical interception to Wesley, the game might have ended up out of reach.

I don't expect Buffalo will be able to finish with the passing game either, which is why I think we could have a similar game to last week.

well, we're not exactly thrilled with our run D and we'll leave it at that..except to say that if Johnson can't get 100 yards rushing on us, then he shouldn't be in the league ROFL ...and this is coming from not only a Bills fan but a PSU fan as well

I'm in Bill's territory and I've always been struck by how much the two teams have seemed to mirror each other in style of play and strength/weaknesses for over a decade or more.

It will be interesting to see how well our "Alledged" new and improved run defense holds up against McGahee......Im sure the Bills will try and pound the ball against us.

If you listened to DV's postgame lockerroom quotes he said " Us coaches finally found out what you guys can do well, which is grind it out. And we'll be doing that a lot next week". Which I can only take is pounding the rock and setting up the play action passes. Which is what they've always done well. And a healthy dose of TG down the seam.
It works for me.

Sounds like last years gameplans for Baltimore and Atlanta. I recall those worked out pretty decent. Just wished they would use that aproach and attitude more often.

No doubt. The strength of this team is and has been the offensive line. The physicality of the five guys up front is immense. We have a HUGE advantage there, yet we fail to regularly exploit it. It's like a broken record with these guys... we fall into a pass-first trap, lose, then all of a sudden they realize "oh yeah, we can dominate teams physically when we run the ball".

No prizes for guessing what, *cough* RANDY MOSS *cough*.

McGahee won't have the luxury of running against soft 7 and even 6 man fronts like Jordan did.

Don't want to be a killjoy, but IMHO the reason theres no been no 100 yard rushers is because as games have gone on they've had so much success passing theres been no need to run.
