Soccer isnt a bad sport, it takes just as much endurence, and if not even more, than football. You wouldnt understand it if you havnt played it, thats probably why u hate it. Ive played soccer for 11 years and i know what is going on

Ive played soccer for 11 years and i know what is going onI know it takes a lot of endurance from the players ,and I do have respect for the sport, but I still hate soccer. It's boring as **** to watch.

I think that some people in the stands will probably kill each other and someone might score a goal before all the viewers take a siesta.

Personally, I'd rather watch the camera view of the stands in hopes of catching a hottie baring her breasts than a bunch of europeans and hispanics kicking a ball around the hayfield.

Marathons and breach baby birthings take a lot of endurance and you won't catch me watching those on TV either.

My best friend is a big soccer fan, he's always trying to get me to watch it and talking to me about it. The one thing more boring than watching soccer is talking about soccer.

Isn't it automatic negative rep for mentioning soccer on the board?

Oh and not only does my friend watch soccer, he plays it on Xbox. Suffice to say I'm always very cautions when going to his house for anything.

I was thinking....did they move the Chiefs game to 3pm for MLS soccer.
Or are they playing MLS soccer on Sunday morning.??
Might as well with the ratings it gets.

The game is being played in a brand new stadium about 5 miles from my parents house in Frisco, Texas. I asked my dad if he was going, he responded "no, soccer sucks".

I like it, and I would watch the MLS cup if football weren't on at the same time.

Not everyone would like soccer. This is a fast-food culture where people have to see some kind of scoring every 20 seconds like the NBA or they get bored and change the channel. But once you appreciate what's going on, you can see that there are battles happening on the field, being won and lost, and you don't see the results on the scoreboard but in the distance the ball has moved on the field.

It's like art, you either "get it" or you don't.

I didn't play soccer, but I can watch it.

Tennis on the other hand, I played all 4 years in high school, but on TV it will put me to sleep in like 10 seconds flat.

Ugh. I'd almost rather watch the World Series of Poker, or Bowling, than soccer.

And how could you fall asleep watching Maria Sharapova?

Well really there are hot women on just about every channel that I'm never going to get anywhere with. Even on the morning news shows.

Poker on TV bores me to tears. It's worse than anything else. Hell I saw a darts competition on TV the other day that was cooler than TV poker.

I would pick bowling over poker too. And any kind of billards. Even most Olympic events.

I'd rather watch a soccer game between two teams I care nothing about than a football game between two teams I care nothing about. It's faster, it's more fluid, and there aren't stoppages every seven seconds.

I'd rather watch curling than bowling or poker or billiards. Actually, curling's oddly... relaxing.

The only time I watch poker is when Cheap Seats is featuring it.

It's like art, you either "get it" or you don't.I'm willing to give it a shot. I've met many Europeans who think I'm a lunatic because I think soccer is boring. I ask them to explain to me what's so great about it and they say, "it's complicated." WTF?

You're right about soccer being compared to art. I just wish they would teach soccer appreciation classes like they do art appreciation.
