There's the play.

Chiefs aren't going to win this one because Al Saunders is going to tighten up and throw every play from here on out. Expect another 10 INTs today.
What do you think they should do? LJ has 116 yards rushing, yet we are down 14-3.

We need to focus on blaming Warfield and dismissing Green's contribution.

Green, Gonzo, & Kennison, need to step up.

This is such a wierd game because we are playing a mirror image of ourselves, IMO.

Warfield's coverage wasn't bad on that play. You really can't defend a perfect pass. On the first TD he was 1) completely toasted off the line and 2) started jumping way too soon, when there was still plenty of time to close the gap. But I won't get too bent out of shape on the second TD.

Go back and look at that second Lee Evans TD. Greg Wesley starts the play by turning his hips and running straight to the middle of the field. Then he tries to turn and come back to the pass. Meanwhile the other side of the field is loaded with Chiefs and doesn't need safety help anyway. Before you blame Eric Warfield, check the play again...

I'm going to say something else that will probably not sit well but I think LJ should return kickoffs. But there is still at least a chance, holding out miniscule hope.

Like I said after the first Warfield toasting...all you need to do is go max-protect and throw at Warfield. He's having as bad a day as the rest of the defense is having good...

I think this is wrong. Did you happen to notice that the linebackers just played back. What the Hell happened to the blitzing we were doing early on? The QB has all day to throw and threw a perfect pass. I don't think many CBs in this league would've been able to stop that pass.

This loss would give us zero room for error the rest of the way out. We'd need 6 out of the last 7 against the Broncos, Chargers, Patriots, Bengals, Giants, Cowboys and Texans. That's teams with a combined W-L of 33-25 (or 32-18 if you take Houston out of the mix).

If we missed we would have had better field position and played it smarter, IMO.

It's time to hit LJ with a pass or two designed to have him catch it in full stride. That is where he does his damage. Our problem exists on offense because we don't have receivers capable of that.
