First, I'm not totally giving up on this season, but regardless if we win out or lose out, these things must be done for the future:
1. Find a damn WR who can get open down the field. Be it draft or free agent. There isn't one on this team. Chris Horn and Marc Boerigter ain't getting it done. We should have been players for Plaxico Burress. We dropped the ball there with our tunnel vision on acquiring defensive players.
2. Re-stock the offensive line. Roaf can't stay healthy and Shields is gonna retire. Waters and Wiegman are studs. Hopefully Sampson will develop. We need at least 3 new linemen.
3. Hopefully Trent plays one more year and then we HAVE to finally bite the bullet and draft our QB in 2007. There should be quite a few good QBs in that draft. Quinn, Young, Vick just to name a few. We should have a crappy enough record to get one of them.
The defense is actually playing better. No major moves are needed there. just some depth. Maybe another DE or DT.
