Come on the fickle amongst you. You are disappointing me. I thought by now a dozen profane discriptions of Tynes and half a dozen lists of "available kickers" would have been posted.

Because he didnt dissapoint anyone, OTher guy missed 2 field goals from closer range. IT was windy as hell. Cant really put blame on a kicker for that.

It was pretty damn windy, well unless you compare it to the Chicago game that shit was funny as hell.

One game is no reason to give up on Tynes, But I still seriously doubt him as our long term answer.

The Bills kicker, who has kicked there for years missed 2 kicks as well. I'll give Tynes the benefit of the doubt for a week.

:BS: Tynes is tha man...Nick Lowery couldn't have made those kicks yesterday, but I bet Tynes makes the 50 yd FG in the '89 playoffs vs Miami

The wind conditions at old Municipal Stadium were like that as well.

Surely you mean the '90 Playoffs, Chiefs did not make the '89 Playoffs. :)

Tynes will kick the field goal against the Bolts that will keep us from getting the best pick in the draft, with our luck.

Just kidding, of course. We have a couple decent kickers. Hope they're back next season, barring bar brawls.

At first I thought, "Oh crap, it's Lin Elliot* all over again!" But then I realized how windy it was, and when I saw the Buffalo kicker suffering the same problems, it made it a little easier to swallow.

*please don't string me from the gallows for even mentioning his name!

Tynes sucked on Sunday,

You are not listening. It was the wind. Their kicker missed 2 from a shorter distance. Plus, even if he makes both, we still lose...

Kicking into the wind off Lake Erie is something Tynes hasn't done.

Worse in Chicago at Soldier field......:p

Tough for a rookie to figure....Imagine trying to simulate that in practice.

He's been nails all year....He doesn't suck. Bad day in Buffalo.:banghead:

Agree....Black at LT / Welbourne at RT....that's a problem that doesn't seem to be being addressed. Limp thru until Roaf/Sampson return.... :)

Wind was blowing like a mudderfugger all over the NFL on Sunday. There may have been a record set for missed FGs.

You should have seen the kicks in Chicago. It was ridiculous.

Yup, There's one FG attempt that the wind caught, and has yet to land.

Hey DC,
who is that in your sig? I remember Wesley making a pretty good stick on a receiver. But that animation looks like it may be a #50 something. Derrick Johnson maybe?

Was it the wind or the Bears hideous uniforms causing the misses?
