SHS drains a 3, Gardner answers with his own.

23.8 left, SHS ball again

Both freethrows in, down by 4.

McKinney loses the ball out of bounds

McKinney hits a 3, 7.2 seconds left, 80-77 SHS

Not a bad game, played better in the second half. Young team that will hopefully mature.

Missed first free throw

Looks like MU can make 3's.

With 7.2 left, Mizzou down by 3, Sam Houston State misses both free throws and Missouri gets the rebound.

They press it down and McKinney is wide open in the corner for the 3 but Brown throws up a 3 in traffic that rims out

Well, they didn't play poorly either way I guess. Hopefully they can get better as the year goes on and have something to build on.

Wow! The drama of it all. MU came just "that close" to cutting down the nets. Sam Houston State is a power to be reckoned with.

I won't crow too much. KSU will probably lose to Georgia Southern friday night. :shake:

How can anyone care about MU with the fact they have not fixed the coaching situation?

How can you be a Chiefs fan?Well since I have always been a UCLA fan I guess I do not see the correlation. Yes I am from Missouri, but that guy is a horrible floor coach and has basically ruined there ability to recruit with his cheating or allowance of cheating. Pretty sad.

You get what you get with him. He does coke, bangs cheerleaders, sucks as a coach, etc. But he's the coach, gotta support him.

How can you be a Chiefs fan?I must say I don't really follow the relevance, I want DV gone really badly. Had they kept Gunther I probablywould not have followed the Chiefs that next season very closely and the same might be true if they keep DV. You got to make at least a small effort to fix these coaching problems.

Sad? Hell, it's wonderful. I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

You say "how can anyone care about MU". I apply that logic to you "caring" about the Chiefs. You aren't happy with the coaching situation at KC, and MU fans aren't happy with coaching situation at MU. Yet, they still "care" about the team.

Baffling, isn't it?

Did you not care about the Chiefs in the Mid 70's-late 80's?

Duke must be terrified, knowing they'll face either Drexel or SHSU in NYC.

Their first real game will be against whoever meets them in the final (either Memphis, UW-Milwaukee, or Alabama, in all likelihood).
