No tornadoes here yet, but we just had 5 minutes of golf ball sized hail.

Not having a garage probably just cost Bob Dole a $500 deductible...

Let me guess, they were interrupting the game for something ten counties away.

Keep in mind most television stations have 20 plus counties that they are obligated to cover (60+ for Wichita stations). Just cause your town has sunny skies doesn't mean someone's life isn't in danger 50 miles to your west. Believe me, in TV weather its "Damned if you do, damned if you dont!"

So far there's been one weather related fatality in Arkansas this evening.

As irritating as it might be, I would want the stations to interrupt the game in order to let me know a tornado is coming. Oh; just so that my family and I can take cover and not die!

They should only interrupt long enough to tell you to turn to another channel.

I'd take some thunderstorms over these 20 degree temps every day of the week.

channel 12 out of wichita seemed that at least most of the time it was on time outs.

At first they werent. We missed Knights sack, but after awhile they just did it during time outs and commercials.

Eh, I was watching KWCH Channel 12, and when they started to go on those breaking weather reports, I'd just switch it to WIBW 13, and still not miss a beat. Then whenever WIBW 13 started to do that, then I switch back to channel 12.

Yippee. There's not a body panel on the entire RX-8 without hail damage.

Time to get bent over by the insurance adjuster.

All you Kansas and Missouri biatches better quit yer bitchin'! I get to see on average 4 Chiefs games a season. I would give anything to see 8 with weather interruptions.
