On the other hand, if Gopher Scanlon had a broken ankle, he'd be playing full-speed by Wednesday.

I would think so yes. Unless he pulls a T.O. and plays in the Super Bowl. But I don't see them going that far.

I don't think it will affect Jacksonville that much. Although Garrard isn't much of a passer and is definitely a downgrade at QB from Leftwich, I don't think it will affect the Jags regular season record. With Leftwich, they had a good chance to beat Indy, but Garrard should be able to win the other games against their weak schedule of San Fran, Tennessee, Houston and Cleveland.
