That was by far the best tackling I've seen Warfield do since he's been a Chief. He hit people today.

Sure did. Surtain had a great game too, hobbled ankle and all.

Does anyone miss McNugget?

I like Warfield. It took him five years to be a solid CB, but I think he is solid now.

Warfield has played well when he's been in this season in general. Even the Buffalo game he played well but Losman had some really nice passes.

Well, for an 8th round draft pick, he turned out alright...

He was solid last year.

All of our corners had a great game. Our Defense in general dominated. It isn't like we were facing David Carr today. NE can't even use the excuse of their running game cause they have never had one.

We kicked their ass!

I agree. What I meant is that his first five years in the league, he was shaky, but ever since then (3 or so years), he's been a good player.

I've always liked Warfield. I've just kept it to myself.

The whole secondary looked pretty good to me. There were plays where Brady had time but he held the ball for a second or so more.......I assume that's partly because we had good coverage and/or confused him a little with what we were doing. Of course that big shot he took early in the game might have had something to do with it to.

This makes two good games in a row for Warfield. He's starting to look like a completely different player out there. He's covering better, tackling better, and starting to lay the wood to opposing receivers. Let's hope he continues playing well with Denver coming to town.

Warfield lead the team with 10 tackles IIRC.

Warfield gave up alot of 3rd downs though. He has improved on his tackling, I'll give him credit for that. Does anyone notice how good our defense can become whenever McCleon ISN'T on the field?!? Did he even step foot on the field today? If not it needs to stay that way. I dont even want that bum to play NCB. Sapp is waaaaay better.

Warfield did his job and tackled when he was supposed to. He also gave too big of cushion to the recievers and bit on a double move.

McLeon should be beneath Sapp andWashington on the depth chart.

You haven't been paying attention. Warfield has always been a decent tackler. He has never been afraid to get involved in the running game.
He is being asked to play the "bend, don't break" corner that requires him to give the receiver a 10 yd cushion.
I hope Gun will let both him and Surtain become bump and run corners.
