View Full Version : How about a SAT NIGHT Pre-Donkey/USC-UCLA ChiefsPlanet Gathering?

Mr. Kotter
11-28-2005, 10:41 AM
Okay folks....It's Donkey Week. I called Buffalo Wild Wings in Raytown, and they said they should have plenty of space for us on Saturday night.

(EDITs of original in RED)

What: CP Pre-Donkey/USC-UCLA Bash
Where: Buffalo Wild Wings, Raytown
When: 5:00 pm to ??? (* Game starts at 3:30 pm)
Who: Whoever wants to show up....RSVP by voting in the poll...or not, and just show up.

SCTrojan, Ali Chi3fs, myself, and some others are planning to get together to watch the USC-UCLA game (game starts @ 3:30 central time--Go Trojans!) and to get primed for the Donkey game. We would like to have a few brews, watch the game and hang-out with some fellow Planeteers.

Anyone wanna join us? :toast:

I told their manager, Shawn....that we'd start arriving shortly after 5 pm. He said he'd set aside some tables for us.

Hope some of you can make it. :)

People who live in/near Overland Park:
I'll be staying Saturday and Sunday nights near Stateline and Johnson Dr. I have a 7 passenger Honda van, so if someone wants to carpool we can arrange a place to "meet" someplace at, say, 4:15 or so...one of us can be the designated driver.

I'll try to setup my favorite waitress there. She's not much to look at but she's the best waitress in the house and she'll put your shit right back on you. The pretty ones can't figure out how to keep a drink full.

Yeah, I'd agree about the waitress. That sounds good. Maybe we can get Brian to call some of his stripper friends if we really want that kind of entertainment....

It doesn't "have" to. We've had events in Blue Springs, KCMO, Leawood, and Lenexa.

The Buffalo Wild Wings is popular because it appeals to most ages and it's 5 minutes from Arrowhead.

The football takes place in Raytown because that's near where Wutamess lives.

Not at all; he had things going on, but may still drop in. And a couple of folks that I wanted to be there, wouldn't have been able to make the trip to St. Joe, so this seems a good compromise. And I like the food and atmosphere of the place. :D
